I wish I could post a picture of what they did to my hair and scalp. I cancelled my appointment at my regular salon to go here because they did a wonderful job on my mother. But my experience was much different. First, they missed a bunch of spots when touching up my roots, so they compensated by using a mixture of hair bleach and shampoo solution which gave me a chemical burn on my scalp which left my scalp oozy and later crusty all over. I’ve been coloring my hair for years and this has never happened before, even with bleach. Second, the color on my roots is not the same color as the rest of my hair, and she didn’t even apply a toner like she said she would to balance out the color. Third, she kept dropping and fumbling with the foils, and kept asking the manager how she should treat my hair. Clearly the girl was inexperienced. Fourth, I asked her to only cut my hair half an inch or less if possible since I’ve been growing my hair out, and she ended up cutting 2 inches off, ruining all the growing out I’ve managed in the past several months. Fifth, she left a 1 inch thick, 2 inch long segment of hair uncut which I didn’t notice at the appointment because it was in the back of my head and someone later pointed it out to me. Sixth, the manager insisted on talking very loudly to another client about a lawsuit being filed against the store/manager for the dog attacking a client’s child; whether it’s true or not it’s still highly inappropriate to talk about and made me feel very uncomfortable. I will never come back here.

The experience was so bad here, I had to write my first review. A Hair salon that had not booked adequate time for their clients, changes prices without telling their clients and worst of all, I paid for a bad blow-dry, my hair color is different from the picture I showed the stylist. The color is not even close. Of course when i try to communicate how upset I was, the owner/manager basically said I was not able to understand her side. I thanked her and wish them the best. Be careful with hair colors and blowing drying hair. I have to pay to fix my daughters hair color prior to her birthday, which is this week. 🙁

Have been going there for atleast 8 yrs. now and will not go anywhere else. I will only see certain certain stylist but that’s just me. My daughter also goes there and only has Joanne ,the owner, do her hair. But they’re all great there. Great environment. Nothing like a supercuts type place. 100% better.
