Cuttin’ Loose Hair Salon

Critical: Professionalism, QualityCalled the day before my appointment to get something scheduled. Told the lady on the phone I had never been there before, but I was looking to get a full head of highlights. When I got to the salon there was a lady sitting on her phone, paying no attention to people coming in the door. Finally, after about 5 minutes she was like do you have an appointment today ? I told her yes, I was getting highlights. She said the girl is out back, she’ll be up in a minute. ( maybe she could have stopped her personal phone call and got her for me ) when the girl came up, she asked if I was here for an appointment and said once Gina was done with her phone called she would be with me. Ginagot off her personal call, finally and was like “ no she said she had an appointment with you “ I didn’t say who I had an appointment with because when I called to make one, they didn’t give me that information.Sit down to get my hair done. She just starts complaining about everything in her life. There was another customer in the salon who was getting serviced by another stylist and was trying to talk to Gina Gina, was making faces and told me she doesn’t ever shut up and put the radio on to block her out. I was appalled at that. Gina went out back to get my dye mixed and started doing my highlights- she never asked what color I wanted or if I liked them thick or thin. Fast forward to getting my hair washed and blown dry. She started drying my hair and was like, “omg you have so much hair this is going to take forever”. I think she only cared because she had just scheduled 2 kids to come in a get their hair cut so she only had like 10 minutes to dry and style me.Once she was doing “drying” my hair I asked her how much it would be? Proceeded to give her a debit card and she said “ oh I don’t accept cards” just cash and checks. Well, that being my first time there, you would think she would have explained that over the phone because it says online they accept credit cards.Needless to stay my I walked out with wet hair and it didn’t even look like I had gotten highlight.
