Our family has gone to Sarah for over 5 years. She is great with kids and adults. She respects the opinion of children and is able to give them haircuts that they like, rather than just talking over them to parents. She also provides high quality mens and womens haircuts for a much more reasonable price than some of the downtown Boulder salons. Highly recommend.

One more reason why Gunbarrel should come with its own City and Zipcode! I’ve tried to schedule my haircuts in Downtown Boulder several times. Always there were so many hoops to jump through. Deciphering options and prices online. Reserving your time slot when you’re unsure of how much time you’ll need. Trying to have a voice-to-voice conversation with the hairdresser themselves beforehand, and being told that would happen “in the chair.” Being met with a supercilious attitude which implies that they are bestowing me with a favor, even though favors are free and not overpriced. My experience with Melissa at Cutter’s Edge was exactly the opposite. No four square online scheduling or feeling nervous in the seat. We talked and texted and scheduled the day before – super relaxed. And she checked out the images of the style I was looking for and gave me feedback. And she took her time! Super warm and friendly and just as skilled. Instead of massacring my fringe and then saying after the fact that she didn’t really understand my instructions, which is what happened the last time in Downtown Boulder, Melissa chose not to touch my bangs until she saw a video of the technique. Much appreciated! The salon is well kept and clean and airy and plays great music. Free glasses of water! And Gunbarrel pricing- meaning you don’t have to skip a meal to foot the bill! I’ll be back!

The crew at Cutters Edge are amazing. They listen to you and help give you advice on how your hair will work with what you want and make fantastic suggestions. I’ve been getting my hair done by the team for nearly 6 years. I had to cancel my last appointment and needed to get my roots touched up. I made the erroneous mistake of allowing a stylist at a different salon to do my hair. I left in tears and drove directly to Cutters Edge. Sarah and the team reassured me it would be ok and fixed ASAP. Sarah even checked in on me after hours and began working on a plan to help me fix my ashtray hair and accomplish the look I desire.
