This is my first time coming here and I was very unsatisfied with my experience. The nails are uneven in length, very bumpy and not smooth, there is a”dried acrylic surrounding some of my nails, and one of the pointer fingers is so crooked I want to put a band-aid on it so it’s not as obvious. I don’t want to say who I had because I don’t want to put anyone on blast, but I found out towards the end of my appointment that this is her first week at the salon. Other techs seemed to know what they were doing, so just make sure that If you are coming for the first time that you book with someone who is established.

First experience with this business and I was willing to forgive and forget. Complete what I asked for vs. what I got. My nails were $95 I tipped $15 and once dry and in the light of the summer day I leave with imperfect lines, bumpy French tips, and nails that look like I paid $40. Tried calling to notify management cause I don’t live nearby no answer. This was 3.5 hrs work with Victoria, she has to be new or inexperienced or both. Partly my fault because I don’t tend to speak up but I expect a service to be supplied for the cost they are asking no questions asked and if you can’t simply say so. Anyways it’s been 1 & 1/2 weeks my nails were already lifting at 1 week and now they are all nearly ready to fall off. Kay who worked right next to my nail tech Victoria looks very component and like he excels at his work. If you go I suggest selecting him.

Walked in couldn’t find the receptionist desk, after looking around I found it hidden between stations. I stood there for a while before the receptionist even looked up at me to ask if I had an appointment. I scheduled a gel manicure and they gave me Nicole. She was late starting me, as soon as I sat down she didn’t even say hello just a dry question asking if I had gel posh on. No eye contact. She started cutting my cuticles dry when I asked is she was going to soak them she said “we don’t do that here” I asked if that was just this location because I faithfully go to the one in JC and it’s never like this she responds with “it depends on the tech” I continued with my service when it was time for polish I asked for a basketball design with no hesitation she says “ idk how to do that, how am I supposed to do that?” Completely rude I was super rushed and she started my appointment 15 min late. If u want to pay for stank attitude & service go to this location and ask for Nicole. Such a disgusting job!

So if you want to enjoy getting your nails don’t come here. They no longer have AC, instead they put up these fans that don’t work. Oh and forget about asking for cold water that machine doesn’t work either. I feel so bad for the workers they are all sweating. Quality of the execution of filing the nails and design is very poorly done. I have been to the other locations and this was my first time in the west side site. My pointer finger needed “repair” and was understandably $5 extra to glue on the tip. However, the shape and filing is bumpy, mis-shaped, and not the same length as my natural nails (it shouldn’t be shorter than my actual nails if it was added on). I asked for a very simple black line design. The lines are all different thickness, mis-aligned, and some diagonal.

This was my first time coming to this nail salon to get a gel manicure. Since I am not from this area and am visiting my friend, I decided to stop by to get a gel manicure as it was conveniently located in the lobby of of my friend’s building as I couldn’t wait any longer to get them done when I’m back home. Back home, I usually get a dry russian manicure with hard gel top coat done for my nails and was aware that this salon does not offer the dry russian manicure as a service. Upon entering, the environment felt very unwelcoming as all the ladies just stared at me rather than telling me where to go for the receptionist. Nail techs were busy on their phones or chatting with each other. My appointment was booked for 11 and I was there waiting from 10:55 am as my nail tech was running late (by 35 mins) because of the client prior to me. I noticed my nail tech on her phone as she had no idea I was waiting for her until I reminded the receptionist that I’m waiting and I got into the seat at 11:35. Throughout the process of removing the old polish off my nails, the nail tech kept insisting that I had acrylics on but I do not deal with acrylics as I’m not a fan of it. I last did my nails back on July 28th prior to coming to stay with my friend and my nails grew out since then. I myself had cut/shape it 3 weeks ago because of the length. My nails are NATURALLY grown with the help of monthly dry russian manicures and the hard gel polish that my nail tech back at home uses. After getting my nails done today, my nails feel weak, brittle, and I have a burning sensation in my nails and I am not sure why that is!!! I had gotten cut on different fingers. The gel manicure felt rushed for me as my service was completed in 30 minutes. At the last, I am hoping that this manicure somewhat lasts until I get back home at the end of the month and will do my nails again with my regular nail tech. When I come back to visit my friend in the future, I will not be coming back here!

This place is awesome. I usually go to West Side or Bayonne location. I love that it’s so clean and chic. It doesn’t matter who you go to, they’re all great nail techs with amazing skills! All these wonderful, hard working ladies provide excellent customer service and these ladies truly care for their clients nails. the atmosphere is just what it needs to be; Friendly and welcoming. I can’t believe I hadn’t gone here sooner!
