“Always go with your first mind” is what my godmother would always tell me. Walking into ‘Cut It Up’ my first mind was screaming “RUN!”, I ignored it… I regretted it. The back of my neck is TORE UP! I could literally feel that he didn’t know what he was doing. I’m not sure if he was inebriated or if his perception was off due to other outside forces but if that’s his “passion” he needs a new one. He was a very nice guy, seemed very knowledgeable about other topics but cutting hair? I don’t think that’s his strong suit. I’m still getting used to explaining to barbers exactly what I need to be done, but a taper and a line up is very straight forward. I got neither. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this establishment. Not to mention the cleanliness was NONEXISTENT. Very dusty, very dirty, worn sofas peeling faux leather and hair EVERYWHERE I hate to say that I’m not even sure the clippers that were used were cleaned properly. Hair everywhere all over the shelves and drawers I mean everywhere. It was very unsettling.
