I have lived in Poulsbo for over 25 years. All of the barbers would listen on how I wanted my hair cut. They would then proceed to cut MY hair the way THEY thought was best for me. The final cut was never what I wanted.

Naomi gave me one of my top 3 fade jobs in the PNW without having to spend excessive money on a barber who would’ve taken an hour on a good fade. Prices are affordable here(bring cash or go to the ATM in Rite Aid before), the barbershop has retained the small town barbershop feel with friendly Barbers and casual settings. They cut my hair for my wedding and it turned out well. I have thick hair with big curls and not all barbers get it right, however, they do here consistently. Besides Naomi, Nick was another good one as well as the owner. They can cut to military standards without going extreme depending on your wants. Stars go out to quality of cut, price, customer service and wait times. I didn’t have to wait for a barber around 1PM on a Saturday. Plan accordingly if you come here on Saturday mornings, they get really busy even with 3-4 Barbers.

After waiting over 60m, only to notice that a man who came in after us was already in a chair, it was finally my sons time to step up to the chair. my son is two, and waited patiently with me and my 8m old daughter. This would have been his 3rd haircut ever. My husband is deployed and i took the day off to stay on top of our errands. My son was scared of the booster seat – alright, let’s try sitting in my lap. Not even long enough to get a cape around myself and son, i’m already being told i’d most likely need to come back, sharp tools and all (obviously…) – presumably because he was upset. I know my son, and i know when he’s going to flip out. He was not about to do anything but cry some alligator tears. I was encouraged to try again another day after ultimately being asked to leave, and that they open at 8am. That’s great, maybe for someone who doesn’t work full time. I was excited to try this shop and left with less than 2 minutes in the chair. Very dissapointed as i was recommended here by a family friend with small boys.
