I booked my son with Mercedes Ivy for September 24,2022 at 4:30. She texted me the day of the appointment asking can I come the next day which I said okay. Sunday came and I got a text message an hour before the rescheduled time saying the power was out and she was waiting on an update. I never received an update so I texted her after waiting 4 hours asking for one and she told me she had to do her clients hair at her home. She never gave me a time so I had to look for a backup. After asking for my deposit back, she told me no refunds or it’s not transferable. My son take school pictures on Tuesday and we already took his hair down so it’s all over the place and I couldn’t dare send him to school looking that way. Well after I texted her multiple times she finally asked for us to come Monday at either 8 or 5. I work and my son go to school so that’s not possible. She still refused to give me my deposit back after all of this was her fault. I will never support her or this business because at the end of the day this was very unprofessional.

I had an appointment with one of your workers who canceled on me twice. I paid a $50 deposit and could not get my deposit back and said she gave my deposit to my daughter who is coming to her to get her hair fixed. She never communicated with me even though I text her.

Be aware of scamming stylists in this company!! There is a stylist named Layla that works at the Decatur location on Ember. She made a appointment with my boyfriend to twist his hair weeks prior to his appointment day he paid a $50 deposit. Layla never called him to confirm so my boyfriend texted her the day before his appointment to confirm and she told him that she was out of town and she needed to reschedule. Well we were going out of town too and that’s the main reason he needed his hair done so he could not reschedule for a different day so we asked for a refund. First she said she doesn’t offer refunds well no where in her bio or in her message does it say no refunds and remind you this is her fault why he can’t get his hair done. She is very unprofessional to schedule a appointment knowing she would be out of town. She switched it up and said she will send him a refund and we will get it within 48 hours well MORE than 48 hours went by and we haven’t received anything. We called her she says she will send it and hangs up in our face several times. You guys need to do better on choosing your stylists because this gives your company a bad look. She is a fraud. Remind you after our whole incident is when she decided to write “no refund” in her bio!!!

I have never seen any setup like this before. This place is phenomenal for the number of stylists, the styles, the clients at all times of the day. Seems to always be busy. Excellent location, various hours based on stylist, great shampoo women, very professional.

I thought I would have had a great experience based off the word in the streets. A stylist name Eshia did my hair. She was late 20 minutes late to be exact but I really needed my hair done and thought I was saving money and time because it was a last minute appointment.

So I let @hustlingbeauty do my purple on my hair. Pic 1 is my hair jet black and long. Pic 2 going from left to right is after she did it purple. During the process she had another client. I called her to come over and check the bleach because it was burning my skin and bubbling like I heard a boiling noise. My hair started shedding and the color started changing on it’s own from purple to grey to ashy blonde. I texted her to call me because I didn’t know why my hair was doing that. This isn’t the first time I had color I’ve had blonde highlights and red hair and did not have this experience. She texted me she had a client and would face time me when she was available. She never called me. I do not recommend letting her do your hair if it’s your real hair. Pic 3 is when it changed grey and my spiral curls were losing its pattern. I had no choice but cutting my hair and I am still not happy with the curl pattern so I will be doing a pixie cut this week to start completely over. I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS!!! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT book prettylocsTorii!!!! Her instagram is a lie from the pits of hell and her work is horrible!!!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!! This was quite possibly the worst hair experience I’ve ever had. I’m so disappointed. If she couldn’t do what I wanted she should’ve just told me. Also I wanted dye but she couldn’t. At the end she still charged me 150, saying I got a rod set which I didn’t. I hate my hair, my edges are unkempt and I’ll be taking it down as soon as possible. Keep your coins ladies, this place sucks!!!!
