I don’t do many reviews, but I have to write this review because of how pleased and impressed I am with Erica Hill at Custom Strand. I must say that I am very pleased and happy with Erica’s work. I have neglected going to a hair stylist for a very long time, more than 4 years. I cut off my hair to avoid going to the hair salon because of the bad experiences I had, such as being overcharged for hair styles that did not last more than a couple of days, and also having to sit in salons for hours on top of hours to get my hair done. However, I decided that I would give it another try because I wanted my hair to grow out, and being natural is very hard to maintain. I did a Google search, and the first name that popped up was Erica, at Custom Strands and the name really caught my attention, and her location was very convenient to my home. After going to her website and reading her profile I was very impressed, so I decided to make an appointment, and I must say I was very pleased with Erica’s work, and I was out in no time. She told me that my hair style would last at least 3 weeks, and she was absolutely correct. I am a person who works out at the gym and was concerned about my style lasting, and honestly my hairstyle did last. I have seen a big improvement with my hair since going to Erica. I highly recommend Erica if you are looking for a stylist who is passionate about her work, has anointed hands, and has Integrity. I have only been going to Erica for 2 months but I have seen a noticeable improvement in my natural hair, and how healthy it is becoming. I have found my new stylist.

Erica is the best natural hairstylist I’ve ever been too. The first time I went her she actually examined my scalp and gave feedback on her findings in regards to treatments. I have never been to any stylist as a first timer and they actually examined my scalp. When she does my wash and go my curls are popping and keep getting stopped by strangers asking how did I get my hair so curly. She has great customer service and I will continue to go her. Plus, she give the best hair washes which includes a vibrating head massager.
