I was able to get an appointment with Skylar in October of 2021 after feeling really defeated with other stylists who didn’t know much about having curls or dealing with them. Now, I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my haircuts. Skylar and all the other stylists are so kind and willing to answer any and all questions I have about my curly hair. I feel so much more confident in being able to maintain the health of my hair. I recommend this salon to anyone with curls!

Skylar is the curly hair wizard! I trust her to hair paint and cut my hair. She showed me how to properly style my curls at home as well. I used to have anxiety getting my hair cut as many curlies can relate but not with Skylar. She is awesome! And fun & hilarious too. You should definitely check her and her salon out. We booked a curly haircut including a curl lesson for my 13 yr old daughter for her birthday. We booked with Tatum, thanks to a recommendation from my sister-in-law and we both had a great experience. The CurlCraft Salon had plenty of seating, a clean shop, easy instructions for parking and pre-appt instructions as well. Tatum explained the entire process and how to care for the hair to my daughter and she came out in all smiles. We purchased the products Tatum used on her hair and we look forward to future visits. We will also be recommending this salon to everyone! Thanks Tatum.

These ladies are great with curls! I’ve been seeing them for a couple years now since she was at her last salon, so glad to see them grow and need a new space. Allie is a WIZARD, people often ask where I get my hair done and I always send them her way. It’s definitely tricky to get an appointment but totally worth it. I have been going to see Ro for a couple years now, starting when the curlcraft team was back at Salvage Salon. They just opened up their new salon for curly girls and not only is it a beautiful, chic and comfortable space, the curly hair stylists are amazing and super knowledgeable about curly hair! I have had my fair share of bad curly cuts over the years at other places, but that has never been my experience with Ro or anyone on the curlcraft team. I sometimes get the full cut and style but usually just run in to get an express cut on my lunch break (which is great for existing clients). Their prices are more than fair and it’s always such a wonderful experience to sit in the chair and catch up.

CurlCraft Salon is great! I have had 3 or 4 amazing haircuts from Ro! I have been to a couple other “curly hair specialists” in san diego, but Ro was by far the best. She took a lot of time with me answering questions about how to care for my hair and teaching me techniques. I also went to her for a haircut right before my wedding and she took so much time and care to get it just right for my big day. I highly recommend Ro
