My appointment with Amber was the best experience I have ever had with any hairstylist. Amber was very gentle with my hair the whole time. I went there wanting a silk press, but Amber was honest with me and told me that my hair couldn’t handle it at that time and offered me a style that I love more than I would have loved the silk press. Amber had a smile on her face the entire appointment. She really loves what she does and I’m grateful I had this experience with her today. I was looking for a natural hair stylist and was trying to avoid driving all the way to Dallas or Fort Worth and I am so glad I found this place! I had an appointment with Sheniqua and I believe it was the best salon experience I’ve had my entire life. She was so gentle and efficient that the time flew by. I will definitely be returning and am so happy to have found somewhere local to get my hair done!

I don’t have enough good things to say about this salon. I made an appointment at 9 AM, and I was out within an hour and a half (I got a crochet hairstyle though, so depending on your hairstyle it may take longer). Shannon was very attentive to what I wanted for my hair and just generally fun to talk to. These ladies definitely know their stuff when it comes to natural hair, and I would definitely love to come back here again!

I honestly love this place. I usually hate going out to get my hair done, it’s expensive and terrifying because you never know how your stylist will match up to your personality. I usually have Ms Shannon do my hair after I first went in for a consultation. My hair type, I believe, is 4C. I cannot maintain it. She told me not only was my hair healthy but when I got my hair done it was a complete makeover. And she’s not like other hairdressers who want you to do everything yourself at home then pay out of the a$$ fees. She’ll actually do it all. Which helps me since I have no friggin clue how to take care of my hair. And I feel like I’m getting what I paid for. They actually are passionate about their work and they are friendly to their clients. I hope they open back up soon because I definitely need a touch up. But I understand… covid is a bee.
