I have fought my curls for years and years… I was a huge fan of Keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowouts! I finally decided at 39 to try to love what God gave me and embrace my curls so a good friend of mine told me to book an appt with Valdéh! I am so glad I did!!! This is the best my curls have ever looked and he was so patient to teach me step by step what products to use and how to use them!! I can’t recommend him enough! We live three hours away but he’s my hair guru now!!

I have never had a haircut as expertly done as my haircut by Valdeh. My hair is my signature – big, thick and wavy and it looks better then it ever has, thanks to Valdeh. It is easier to style as he studied how my hair naturally behaves and he cut it to accentuate that, instead of fighting it. He also did my color and I love it – exactly what I wanted. He is a consummate professional.

Unfortunately, the only way to remedy this was to cut off 6 inches of my hair. I requested a simple trim from Valdeh, and he charged me $500 (this price was NEVER disclosed to me before). He also charged me for the time I was waiting for him to complete his previous client’s hair.Valdeh has a lot of great reviews on Google, Yelp, etc.. I did my research before booking with him. I have a hard time believing any of these reviews are real. Please be careful when booking with this salon. I was unable to locate his cosmetology license online, and I have subsequently reported him to TDLR.He was unable to accept that he did not cut my hair well, he claimed I was lying, didn’t want to pay, etc..(I paid him in full and have no motivation to lie). Valdeh is wonderful. I have fine curly hair with curl patterns ranging from spirals on top to wavy underneath. He gave me a custom curly cut. He took his time with my hair. He showed me how to fix my hair so my results at home would be just as good as when I left the salon. He showed me how to use his favorite products for my hair type (now my favorite too). The results were better than I dared to hope for. I will definitely be a lifelong customer!

AMAZING!!!!! I’m not one to leave a review but I have to on Valdeh. I rarely get my hair cut because it’s so hard to find someone who knows anything about curly hair and the times I did get my hair cut I always left with it straightened and I was never excited about just ok with it. I did my research..for a long time and decided to go with Valdeh and I am soo glad I did!!
