I usually go to salons near my house but decide to get away and do some shopping and get nails done, so I stopped into crystals and got a full set and right away I informed the front desk this was my first time there. I felt rushed and kinda overwhelmed didn’t know where to look for colors or where to sit. So I let the lady know what I wanted and shape. As she was doing my nails she cut my fingers 3x ( OUCH) the first time she apologized but the other two she didn’t say a word. I was getting so upset and ready to walk out. I didn’t have time to go anywhere else and felt uncomfortable telling her she was hurting me and messing up my nails. After she was done I was looking at my nails and they looked awful!!! She asked if I like them and I said the shape is not even and very sharp ( I got square shaped but normally it’s smooth and not sharp edges) she just smiled and said okay. I just left and will never return! I literally cried in my car because I spent $60 on a full set that was HORRIBLE!!!!! I never leave out and care for myself this was my self care day I was looking forward to. I will never return and making this review so others will just be aware that some of the nail techs are not good at all!!! I seriously am so mad at myself for not walking out.

Why aren’t we allow to give zero stars. I got a full set done by Ken on Friday around 6pm. On sunday, my nails were already lifting up from the bottom. On Monday, 2 had already popped off. Tuesday, another on popped off as I made my way to the shop to hopefully get them fixed. They were closed. I get home and one of my nails that lifted got caught on something and ripped half my natural nail off. Not to mention how bad my cuticles look as they didn’t cut them. I’m am so disgusted by this service I don’t know what to do. I don’t even want them to fix my nails. I’ve never in my life had a full set last 2 days. I should have taken heed to the awful reviews and went somewhere else!!! Very angry!!

I feel very taken advantage of and mistreated by Crystal Nails. The first time I came in, I was getting a full set- no chip which is 53$ with a French tip which is an extra 10$. (That makes 63$). After having my nail tech ignore me the whole time, I went to check out and they try to charge me 75$!! I ask why and they say “extra 5 dollars for shape change”. How can you change a shape when you’re putting on a full set for the first time?? Plus, an extra 5$ on top of 63$ would be 68$, not 75$. I came back anyway and a similar situation happened. I got a fill-in which is 43$ and get charged more due to “filing down my nails to make them shorter”. Isn’t that apart of the manicure? Also, If you’re going to charge more, maybe let me know before doing anything! Let alone, they didn’t charge my sister-in-law who was with me and got the EXACT same service. I don’t get why there is a misunderstanding of their own prices. I don’t feel valued or taken care of. It was a waste of my time and not worth the manicure that I am actually satisfied with. Just because you enjoy the work doesn’t mean it’s worth the hassle of bad customer service and a headache when trying to pay.

I want to start with I NEVER leave negative reviews, but I went to this salon NOV 4th from out of town to get my nails done. In taking off my old SNS the lady drilled my nail down so much she burnt me a couple times, and then resorted to just breaking it apart with the metal clipper thing, bending my nail in the process. Again, never write bad reviews so I said noting. It was about $10 more with a tip than what I usually pay, so not bad. However, the $50 I paid with tip on my card (I cash tipped as well) turned into a $57 charge over drafting my account. I have the receipt with the tip, but I typically don’t complain, so I didn’t. This is where my breaking point is, I got a no chip manicure after asking if it would last retail, and in 5 days of work the nails had large cracks in them that kept uncomfortably bending my nail.

Made an appointment for a hot stone pedicure and no chip.. for $70 you would think it would be longer than 35 mins. It was rushed, I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience and the no chip polish was sloppy. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Pedicure
