These are pictures the day after I got my nails done. First I waited more than an hour, which I didn’t complain about because I was a walk-in. The lady was nice but I think she needs glasses. There were bubbles in the finish of some of my nails and they were too long after I told her I needed them very short so I could type. My edges were filed partly round on one edge and partly square on the other edge. She used tips that weren’t wide enough to cover my whole nail and tried to camouflage the fact. I had to go back the following day because I was unable to type and she filed them down and ruined the coating on the tips of several of them and the clear coat flaked off. I had paid for gel nails but it turns out they were acryllic nails. Because I hadn’t gotten my nails done in a few years and never had gel before, I didn’t know. The bottom edges at my cuticles was crusty and messy and took days to work itself off. Then the acryllic started coming up and chipping off. I was embarrassed and ashamed of their sloppy appearance had to wear them until I could get them redone somewhere else. I made sure to ask around for a good nail salon and went to Nails by Thi on Little Creek Rd last night where they did an awesome job.

Waited for about an hour, but I did come at what seemed like rush hour (noon) on Friday. I love my nails! However, I did bleed from both middle fingers from the nail tech taking too much off my cuticles (?) and it’s obvious. But for $25 for a gel manicure I’ll take it. I shall be back!

Had my nails done yesterday by Tommy and he was so nice & chill made the experience a relaxing one, and everyone is friendly. The atmosphere is extremely calming and my mother and I were thoroughly impressed. I love my nails they are simple yet elegant and beautiful. I will definitely be returning.

This is only 1 week old today. One nail broke 2days after but I was out of town for Labor Day weekend. the 4th day another broke. Now more starting to lift. Paid $95 for nails/pedi. Less than a week nails starting breaking. Took my husband here to get both of us Mani/Pedis. I also did gel fake nails for my hands. Everything was done in a professional manner and I love how my nails turned out. The hubby’s first ever experience with a pedicure was “heavenly”. Prices were very reasonable as well. We will definitely be coming here again the next time we’re able to get our nails done.
