Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueSo I’ve been here before, had gel manicure by Nick who is the owner which was ok and pedicure by Henry which was good. This last visit was awful. I went the day before Thanksgiving for pink and white full set, called and spoke to Nick earlier in the day and made an APPOINTMENT for 6:30pm, he confirmed the time out loud. I show up at 630 and he’s doing a pedicure. He says “oh i wasn’t sure if you were coming at 7″…why would I come at 7?? So that was his excuse for why he took someone before my appointment. So finally after waiting close to 40 min he starts on mine. In the meantime the other person working offers the two ladies that were finished some refreshments as they got their massage. I’m thinking wow thats nice I’d like to enjoy a piece of the dessert once I’m done especially since I hadn’t eaten yet and wasted 40 min for nothing. So Nick rushes through my service, I didn’t get tips like I normally would at my other salon, and he didn’t use nearly as many files on the nail as I’ve always had done at previous salon along with the bonding polish for the nail- he waits til he puts part of the powder on THEN uses it. At the end he rushed through my massage, didn’t offer refreshments and didn’t offer any discount for the long wait when I asked. He instead charges full price of $55 for minimal rushed job! In northern VA I pay $55 for what he did PLUS tips, more work on nail bed to ensure bonding AND bonding polish on nail. I even had to ask for lotion when my hands were clearly dry..all because HE was LATE and wanted to get out of there so I suffered because of it. To top it off, several of my nails had already chipped by the next day! I had gone out of town that following day and did nothing to cause chips and then one of my nails completely broke just by picking a bag up. Very poor quality especially for the price. I won’t be back, even to fix my nails..not worth my time.
