I decided to give the “curly girl method” a try, but had such a tough time finding a stylist that understood curly/wavy hair and how to cut, color, and care for it. Samantha has naturally curly hair and knows everything there is to know about managing and caring for healthy curls and waves. She takes the time to listen to what you want to do with your cut and style and is more than willing to teach her clients how to best care for their hair in ways that work with their life and routine. I have recently started to let my greys come through and she has been so encouraging and supportive in helping me learn to love and embrace my natural color and natural wave. Sam has been cutting my hair for 5 years and I have followed her through 3 salons. She’s that good. I have curly hair and I cannot emphasize enough the importance of finding someone who knows how to work with curls. It makes such a difference in the health and appearance of your hair. Sam’s level of expertise and attention to detail are amazing. She’s incredibly meticulous about getting each curl just right. I love it. Plus, I always get a cut that looks good not only walking out of the salon, but also after I wash it and style it myself. I am very much a wash and wear person and don’t have the skill or patience to spend a lot of time working on my hair myself, but Sam always gives me a cut that looks great with little maintenance or effort.
