Our stylist cater to all hair types and textures and provide hair services such as coloring, cutting, blowouts, sew in weaves, braids, cornrows, hair styling and more! The last two times I went to do my hair, the owner had scheduling conflicts. The first time, my appointment was cancelled one hour before. The owner was swift to move my appointment to late at night (which did not go unappreciated). I went to schedule again the next time I was ready to do my hair, and I came on time for the appointment. When I arrived the stylist was not there. I called, and she did not realize the appointment was scheduled, so we rescheduled. I was annoyed, but again I was understanding. The owner/stylist does a great job, so I was open to going again until I saw her Instagram story complaining about people feeling “entitled” to hair appointments at a particular time. The owner/stylist stated that she was not “desperate for money”, and that she had the right to cancel appointments whenever she needed to. While this is correct, her policy states that we are charged for cancelling with short notice, so I was a bit frustrated hearing this. Of course, I value the stylists time, but I want to work with a stylist who values my time as well. Christina does a GREAT job, but I cannot deal with the uncertainty of scheduling as I have many responsibilities. Moving forward, I found another great stylist in the Allentown area who is timely and communicative.

I’m from NJ but have been living in PA for 4 years now. I have been traveling back and forth to NJ to get my hair braided whenever I want it done. I received in my mail slot a flyer for this salon and decided to try them out. I must say Christina did a phenomenal job on my braids! They are neat and not tight…AND IT ONLY TOOK HER 3 HOURS!!!! Not to mention she was very professional, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this salon for braids and other services, as she does it all.

Throughout the years that I’ve lived in Bethlehem, I have went through many stylists before finding Christina and her salon through a friend referring me. Since 2019, I have been going consistently to her for my hair. I literally get all my hair services done through them whether it’s my natural hair, braiding, locs, or wigs. I’m never afraid to try a new hairstyle because I know they got me. And the complimentary wash at no additional charge is nice as well because lord knows I don’t always have time to do it myself. Overall, just a very professional shop with a laid back vibe and nice atmosphere.

Critical: ValueI went to this salon for large knotless braids, I was highly disappointed. After only one full day some of my braids were slipping out. I’m not sure if it’s the braiding method she used, but I was shocked. I’ve gotten this style before and never had this problem. So I messaged the stylist to let her know so she could fix it for me, she said i would have to pay a re-braiding fee of $65 depending on how many braids I wanted fixed. Ridiculous. From a silk press on natural hair with a trim to a custom color, trim, and a rod set, Christina does an AMAZING job. My hair ALWAYS comes out PERFECT and I never experience heat damage which is EXTREMELY important to me! My natural hair is still healthy and flourishing because of Christina. She is the ONLY person that has touched my hair in Pennsylvania since I’ve lived here. I HIGHLY recommend getting your hair CROWNED by CJ & CO!

Yesterday, I finally came to my senses and realized I needed a protective style for the summer. Being the indecisive person that I am, I probably texted Christina, the owner, at least ten different times asking her numerous questions. Finally, I decided on the jumbo box braids! BEST DECISION EVER. She was super professional and it only took about 4.5hours! The shop is cozy, and I felt at home. I highly recommend giving this shop a try. You will not be disappointed.
