I had a really good experience at the salon. Prior to my visit I asked her questions about the keratin smoothing and straightening treatment and she answered them really quickly. I was able to schedule online really easy. She is very respectful and treated my hair with care and my hair had never been straighter than when she did it!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI had a haircut, shampoo and hair styling with Yolanda… she is a great hair stylist knows her work very well. My hair cut was perfect and my hair was set just amazing. She is a sweet person. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Critical: ProfessionalismUnfortunately I can’t review her actual work because we didn’t get that far. I booked through the Booksy app and was very excited for my appointment. I arrived on time for my appointment only to be questioned in a rude manner as to why I was there and that it was her first time hearing about the appointment. Yolanda then proceeded to explain that I needed to call first even though I received a confirmed appointment email. No where while booking did it say to call before. I decided it was best I just leave since she clearly had an issue with me being there. I see so many reviews of how great she is but that was not who I received today. Unfortunately I can’t review her actual work because we didn’t get that far. I booked through the Booksy app and was very excited for my appointment. I arrived on time for my appointment only to be questioned in a rude manner as to why I was there and that it was her first time hearing about the appointment. Yolanda then proceeded to explain that I needed to call first even though I received a confirmed appointment email. No where while booking did it say to call before. First of all Yolanda judged me that I will be using Groupon even though I didn’t mention anything about that. I booked a women’s haircut from the Booksy application and needed only a haircut not styling or anything else which the booksy mentioned under that category. I had pretty long curly hair which I thought she should be able to manage as she deals with it every single day. She gave me a very short cut which I didn’t expect coz the cut was done under 5 minutes without using any water or without even combing. I was under the impression that she knows what she was doing based on the reviews but she was not a professional lady. She cut my hair very short without removing any tangles or applying anything else. When I got back home and styled my hair OMG it was a mess. Horrible cutting with uneven ends, no shape. Terrible and poor service. May be the reviews are based only from her loyal community members. I chose this service based on the reviews here. But unfortunately my experience turned out to be a disaster. First of all Yolanda judged me that I will be using Groupon even though I didn’t mention anything about that. I booked a women’s haircut from the Booksy application and needed only a haircut not styling or anything else which the booksy mentioned under that category.
