Aye I jus wanna give a shout out to Latrice the owner of Crown-N-Glory!! First off I messaged her early this morning looking for an appointment and she was on point with messaging me back in a timely manner. Then she was able to fit me in on short notice. When I got there, the place was Covid protected and business like. Her co workers there were very friendly when I entered. Latrice was very professional with the way she presented herself. Found out she has 30 years of experience in hair styles for men and women which was so comforting to hear. She was fast and made sure I was okay with it being that this was my first time EVER doing cornrow braids. I had an amazing experience here. Looks like I found my barber/hair stylist to go to now. Thank you Latrice for treating me like one of your own.

Latrice is a joke. She represented herself as owner and asked me to come in to look at my hair and what style of braiding I wanted. She stated that she was booked for months but would have someone book me asap. She said the shop has a total of 8 braiding. The cost would be $ 70. So Zakyrah texted me later that day, trying to schedule the appointment. I sent her 2 pics of the style of braids I wanted. She told me that she has done some designs, but could not guarantee that she could do this specific “stitch braiding.” My experience in the past with braiding, if that braider is experienced they can create any style that u like. I decided to cancel the appointment because I am not paying $70 to be given NO Guarantee that my hair would be to my satisfaction. With all that being said, I won’t ever do business with this shop. Shame on all of you trying to rip people off.

I don’t know where to begin for Latrice has been my stylist for many years. She is a true professional who does beautiful work and is so friendly always smiling. I am impressed with her knowledge, skills and dedication to her craft. Latrice knows what hairstyles and colors that would look best on me. And if I have a style in mind she does a terrific job of matching that style. I have never walked out of my appointment feeling disappointed . The service, the salon, the people are all wonderful .
