When I moved here from South Portland, I was looking for a similar barbershop that I had back there. I was very happy to find Elaine‘s place ten years ago not far from me and that it had both the same kind of feel and same price as I was paying back there. I don’t have much hair left, but I trust her with each strand. There’s nothing like this place anywhere else around here that I’ve found, so the scariest thing for me is that she might close up when she gets tired of cutting hair.

She did an excellent job, and was very engaging conversationally. Normally, I would find that irritating (I go to the barber shop for a haircut, not to learn the life story of strangers), but she was so charming I didn’t mind at all. But the main reason to go is the haircut. She is very skilled.
