This is a great barbershop. Everything you would want in a barbershop. Amazing barbers who are extremely talented. When you walk in you are greeted with smiles. You can tell this place values it’s customers, community and the family’s of those who go there and work there. Made an appointment and the barber never showed up. Somebody else covered him and I think I may have been his first haircut. He was way too aggressive with the clippers and cut me multiple times. Ended my haircut getting wiped down with alcohol. Terrible experience. Will not return again. This shop is very much about drug culture. If that is your thing then great. If it is not, you may not want to spend money here. Everyone was mostly nice but that doesn’t make up for everything else. Also, I got the haircut I specifically asked NOT to get. Terrible on every level.

I got my hair cut by Heather today and she did a really good job. I would definitely recommend checking this place out just make sure you bring cash! They are a cash only establishment which is pretty cool in my opinion but just in case you forget they do have an ATM inside.

I scheduled an appointment with Mike. We walked in for my sons appointment, scheduled at 6:10. He had another customer before me that wasn’t scheduled. I understand this happens, however my son didn’t sit down until 30 minutes after our appointment. Mind you the appointments are 30 minutes a session. Then he tries to pass our appointmet to someone else. My son finally sits down to get his haircut and he proceeds to THIN my sons hair! I told him I did not want my sons hair thinned, while he’s ALREADY thinning his hair, and assumed because he mentioned how thick his hair is, and I agreed, that I wanted it thinned, which I NEVER verbally expressed. He was in a rush to close and didn’t take the time to ask me, more or less just took it upon himself to thin his hair. Now the front of his hair is way thinner than the rest. I am extremely dissatisfied with his service and he didn’t even try to make it right.

My BF went here for a hair cut and beard trim. The barber and manager argued with him about what he wanted, telling him he basically couldn’t have the cut and trim he wanted, even though he has been getting the same cut and trim else where for years. Then they gave him a chinstrap that he specifically asked them not to give him. And the barber scratched his face so badly that it’s been 3 days and the scratch is still visible and covers his entire cheek. They don’t listen the clients, they just want to give you the cut that they think you should have. So if you want to look like a 4 year old boy then this might be the barber shop for you. But if you are a grown man that likes to look like a grown man and you actually want to look Crispy you might want to try Floyd’s or anywhere but Crisp. I’ve seen better work at Cost cutters.

We have been going to Gerald at Crisp for several years now. He is great with young boys to the good ol boys too. The times we haven’t been able to get in to Gerald, we have had amazing cuts with a couple of the barbers as well. I highly recommend!
