Took my trans male son there. It’s hard for him to find a place that is not judgy and won’t give him a girl cut. This was great. Welcoming, professional, comfortable. We were there for 5 hours, and in between processes, she agreed to cut my 5 year old autistic grandson’s hair. He is afraid of haircuts. I held him and she cut. Great job under the circumstances. To start with you walk into a comfortable environment. The artists are all genuine and greet you and others with a Hello. How cool is that? The furniture and art work set a cool relaxed tone and it’s spotless clean. They evem have a coffee bar!!!..:)The stations are far apart enough that you can carry on a conversation without interruption. You dont feel like the other customers can see your hair follicles ( joke but so true in some salons) The artist that cuts and colors my hair is Nikki Spangler aka Spangz. This girl is sweet as pie and very professional with your hair. If you want the new vivid colors she knows her stuff or if you just want a great cut and bayalage etc. You will LOVE her. So do yourself a favor and make an appointment with one of the artist at Creative Soul.
