She does a wonderful scalp massage to start the session (if you want one) and spends time making sure she knows what you are looking to accomplish with the visit. I never have to “clean up” a few things with the scissors when I get home; Stephanie looks over everything and double checks that you are satisfied with the cut before you leave.When I first wanted to do some color or highlights in my hair, we talked about it a couple different times because I was not sure. There was no pressure to get it done; she was patient to let me get to the decision in my own time. Once I decided, YES, I am doing it! We talked about the shade I wanted and she helped me select a beautiful deep red that was the perfect choice to complement my skin tone, eyeglass frames, and base hair color. She knew that I wouldn’t want to deal with having to touch up roots and recommended a semi-permanent that would be a better choice for my lifestyle. She was spot-on with that recommendation.
