Creative Nails

Critical: ProfessionalismI have gone to this nail salon for many years to get pedicures. I do not do manicures very often at all because I just don’t take care of my nails and I don’t have long nails. I went in today to get a fun Christmas time chrome gel. I have never had this done before so it was new to me. The lady in the salon that did my nails was incredibly rude. I tried to engage her in conversation and she hardly talked and hardly looked up at me. When she did ask a question she acted like she was put off and inconvenienced with my answers. A couple of times I did not understand what she was asking and she gave me a ruse look. I messed up and chose the wrong color but not knowing what the whole process was, I just stopped her midway through her finishing one hand and said that that wasn’t the right color. Of course she did not talk in English when she went to get another nail salon person. I sat down with another girl and she was very polite and very nice. The other woman did end up coming over and finishing my nails but again was not very personable. She also asked me to takeoff my bracelet and I was assuming that she would be rubbing my hands as that’s part of a $50 manicure. That did not happen. It made me very upset to have this experience. I thought About giving her a very large tip and saying I’m sorry you’re having a bad day just because it’s Christmas time but then I decided that that was not warranted and I gave her my normal tip. I probably shouldn’t have given her a tip at all. I have gone to this nail salon for many years to get pedicures. I do not do manicures very often at all because I just don’t take care of my nails and I don’t have long nails. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityAMAZING NAIL SALON!!! I have been using this salon for over 20 years and they are the absolute BEST!!! Every Nail Technician does beautiful work so don’t be picky about who you have doing your nails, I Assure you that You will Love Them when you’re finished! I saw a review where someone wrote that they do not communicate their prices very well so all I can say to you for that is to just BE SURE YOU TALK TO THEM UP FRONT ABOUT WHAT IT IS YOU WANT AND HOW MUCH ITS GOING TO COST YOU! If you have to clarify 2-3 times to make sure they understand what you mean OR so that You can understand what They are telling You, no worries AT ALL! they are SUPER FRIENDLY AND MORE THAN PATIENT PEOPLE, I promise!I like a lot of things about Creative Nails opposed to other nail salons around or in Lexington but I will say one of the most Resoectful things they Do which is HUGE (I know) to and for EVERYONE OF US and that is well when you are sitting there Every ONCE IN A WHILE you Will hear one speak Vietnamese to another one but it’s literally 2-4 sentence, the other one answers and that IT! They don’t carry on and on and on in Vietnamese the whole time you are sitting there or even half the time you are there so that you feel like “what in the **** are they talking about?” “Is it me?”??!!! Bc yeah I Know We Have Just About All had that thought EXACTLY in the past or either we were definitely made feel extremely Uncomfortable at one time or another at a salon because they do JUST THAT!They take pride in their work and they focus on their job like they should! If you are looking for just a 1 time set or manicure GIVE THEM A TRY! However if you are looking for a salon to call “YOUR OWN” You Will Be So Happy You Chose Creative Nails once you DO!
