Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis is my first time at CCC. I was very nervous, because I’ve had so many bad experiences in the past at other salons. Nicole did not disappoint me! My hair was orange in the middle from the last time I had it done (that lady said she wouldn’t be able to lift it in just one session) Nicole was able to lift my previous color and Roots that were pretty grown out in just one sessions and have a great haircuts! This is my first time at CCC. I was very nervous, because I’ve had so many bad experiences in the past at other salons. Nicole did not disappoint me! My hair was orange in the middle from the last time I had it done (that lady said she wouldn’t be able to lift it in just one session) Nicole was able to lift my previous color and Roots that were pretty grown out in just one sessions and have a great haircuts! Critical: QualityI had an appointment for color correction. The stylist assured me she could remove the color. After 5 hours sitting in her chair (and hearing this was the biggest project she had ever done) I was just happy to have the dark color removed. Then I got home and saw there was still red in my hair and uneven coloring where she added color. This was a very expensive appointment and I expected to be given what was stated, the red color removed. I simply did not feel confident in the skill level of the hair dresser so I went to another salon for a consult, where I realized my hair color was much worse than I had originally thought. At that point I reached out to the original hair dresser and expressed my concern and also that I wanted it to be corrected elsewhere. She told me that I could go back and have it fixed by her but, after seeing my hair I didn’t want to take any more chances with her. I was so upset that I tried to talk to the owner about a fair refund. I understand the dresser did some work and I wasn’t expecting the entire amount to be refunded. This was a poor job (and I had to pay to have it done again) and was basically told they don’t refund color correction and that I was actually given a good deal. Let me describe what this “good deal” looks like (because I can’t figure out how to post pictures.) My hair was a dark brown-red color and I wanted to go to a lighter blonde with highlights. After the long process I walked out of the salon with brassy blonde hair. Which was fine, I understood the process wouldn’t leave me platinum blonde. I was happy the red was gone. Or so I thought…. the next day I noticed red under the top layers of my hair! Then I started examining my hair and found long strands of hair with 3 different colors in the same strands of hair! At that point I was upset and feeling like she probably didn’t have any experience with color correction and I was her guinea pig. What was even more upsetting was seeing the pictures of my hair that my new hairdresser showed me! I had an inch of ugly orange blonde where she put foils and then it was a darker brown just below it! If I am able, I’ll post pictures.
