I got a haircut here for the first time, and Elana was very patient with my lack of vocabulary. She did her best to help me through the cut and give her advice, while working with what she had. In the end, the cut was a beautiful work of art and I am extremely happy. Although there were a couple mishaps, I am grateful for her patience and talent.

I got a blow dry at this place for an event. It cost 80 dollars which I thought was hugely overpriced for a simple blowdry and the hair stylist didn’t even do a very good job. When I asked if she could put some curls in it, she said it would be 25 extra dollars. A complete waste of money – I ended up having to redo my hair anyway. Blowdry

My hair is curly and I often get haircuts from people who cut my hair like it’s straight. They wash it first and then cut it when it’s sopping wet so it’s cut like straight hair. I have never been happier with a haircut in my entire life. Elana did everything I asked for and more. My hair is curly and I often get haircuts from people who cut my hair like it’s straight. I rearranged my day to make a 4 o’clock appointment on time, only to wait 30 minutes, at which point I decided to leave. Nobody told me that the stylist was running behind, or checked in with me during my wait. I could have run an errand or gotten something to eat with that time. Won’t be booking again.

I love Lune’s hairstyling skills. She is wonderfully detail-oriented with my bangs and has a very realistic attitude towards my style in general, which is low maintenance. I never blow-dry my hair and she respects my preferences! Lune keeps my hair looking amazing and just right for me. I’ve referred many friends to her and I can always tell when Lune cuts their hair because everyone looks just right, totally natural and comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend SaLune!

The salon is beautiful, so clean, and has great energy! Danielle worked some serious magic and gave me exactly the cut I was looking for. She’s super professional and clearly really talented! There was an adorable dog and they even have disposable masks at the desk so your mask doesn’t get all hairy. How thoughtful!! Unfortunately, one team member there (who was very kind!) removed her mask for a portion of the time I was getting my hair cut. Everyone was great about masks while directly interacting with clients but I was pretty uncomfortable seeing that in the mirror. I regret not saying anything in the moment, but it’s just so awkward. If you’re not too worried about covid, then I 1,000% recommend coming here! If you are worried about sharing a space with maskless people you might want to be prepared to speak up during your visit (I’m pretty sure they would have fixed this right away if I had said something). Such a shame because everything else was so perfect!

Love this place. I’ve had my haircut by both Lune and Danielle and it was amazing each time! There is nothing like a good haircut, especially as a curly haired human. I tried a local salon more recently because the drive to Hudson felt a bit out of the way, but it just did not compare. Really looking forward to my next appointment at SaLune (I’ve decided the incredible cuts are well worth the drive)!
