Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI took my daughter to do her hair and the woman who did it seemed like she didn’t want to. It came out lopsided uneven and not what you would think a professional would do. I wont but be taking her back again. She disappeared after doing it so I couldn’t even get her to fix it. Usually I come here with no problems. Today will most likely be my last time being a patron here. I called ahead of time to ask how much ONLY roller setting my locs would be, no wash just setting lotion and rollers. They told me $35 over the phone. Got here the woman splashed water on my head and set it in flexi rods, after i came in an said EXACTLY what i was told via telephone. For that they charged me $50, and initially tried to charge me $55, claiming flexirods aren’t rollers. PLEASE. Now usually you can get a wash, oil, retwist, and roller set for $50, so why on earth would you charge the same for doing half the work. She didn’t even do the retwist as the receipt claims. I have no problem paying for a service, but I do not like poor information or customer service by an establishment. Its sad because I had recommended a few people to this place, but never again. Just make sure you get the name and practically record what you want exactly, or you may get the wool pulled over your eyes.

The stylists here are personable and professional. They remember their regulars and ALWAYS do good work. I’ve never had any complaints. Prices are very reasonable and they are clean! Call ahead if you want to guarantee a spot because they are popular and get busy sometimes but definitely the best spot I’ve ever frequented for my loc care.

I’ve known the owner for more than 20 years. She finally did my hair today because she’s always full with customers. She’s so popular with the dreadlocks customers. They are great hairdressers. There’s hardly customers with perms, more dreads. Their dreads come out really nice. I’m a perm girl, Nohemie took good care of my hair and scalp. She does really care about her customers as a whole.
