Do not be fooled by the name. She did highlights in my hair and they were absolutely ridiculous, she tried to fix her damage, but it even made it worse. Do not go to her for highlights you will regret it I ended up spending $200 on top of what I paid her to fix her damage. She’s very sweet though, i’ll just never ever go back.

I purchased a coupon for services from Phylicia. When I first called to make the appointment, she told me the first appointment was six weeks out. I got my hair done elsewhere and figured I would use the coupon for a touch up. When I went to make the appointment, she texted me that she wasn’t working (middle of the week) and would make an appointment the following day. The communication lacked in terms of basic customer service, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Today she texted me that I couldn’t get an appointment for another month. I told her the coupon expired in three weeks and asked what she suggested. She replied rudely to make an appointment and pay the difference. While I’d love to entrust my hair with such a champion of basic customer service, I’m gonna pass.

Phylicia did a full highlight, cut, deep conditioning and style. I wear my hair in an A line and its super thick. Its hard to find a stylist who handles my hair well. Looks and feels great! She gained a new client with me.

I would give Phylicia Aswege ZERO Stars if I could. During the color she asked me about my cut, like she knew me and be polite a played along, I did not want to correct her as I was a bit embarrassed that she thought she knew me. But that may be why she appeared to be getting upset with me because she told me she would have to charge me for the haircut since I had used a Groupon before. I politely told her had never been to her place before, does it say that somewhere? I guess she doesn’t keep a client list. I wish she would because then maybe she would not have chopped my hair and completed the worst haircut ever, I am still crying about it.

I contacted Groupon, who acknowledged issues with Cre8tive Colors and they allowed me to trade in my voucher for another vendor. I called the new vendor and got an appointment for the next day! Phylicia claimed that she called me back but was not able to leave a message…that’s funny because I get messages all the time!

Purchased this groupon a week ago and cannot get this woman to answer her phone. Left plenty of messages. Do not buy a Groupon groupon for this salon. After reading the other reviews I’m so glad she didn’t and ruin my hair.
