Went in last week for a cut and beard trim. There wasn’t any wait at all when I walked in, I as seated right away. The people were cool and we had good conversation, atmosphere is pretty laid back. I grew up going to crazy Johnny’s and never once had a bad experience. However the cut that I got was not as good as it looked leaving. After washing up later than night and combing my hair and beard, it was a disaster. I asked for it tight in the sides, faded and trimmed up top with a beard trim. Beard was totally hacked and the guy missed alot of the bottom, it looks like he cut half the bottom and stopped, it’s not so rounded either. The cut was alright but he fade was too high for how my hair is on the back of my head and the way he trimmed around the part on top was not clean and a huge section was missed. All in all I shaved my head and fixed the beard. I would go back again, I will just watch and inspect a bit better. If the atmosphere wasn’t so decent, I wouldn’t go back. There a decent group, but the shop isn’t like it used to used to be.

Just got back from here today after my first vistit. First of all awesome haircut best fade I’ve had in a while, and I used to live in Brooklyn so thats saying something. Johnny is a cool guy and the place has a great vibe and character. Definitely more legit and a bit cheaper than mob spot in Perth amboy and house of fades in Keansburg (been to both). Would absolutely go back and recommend friends.
