I recently had David do my nails (gel fill) at Cozy Nails. The shop was open, airy, quite new and beautifully decorated. David did a great job on my nails, gave a nice back massage and a paraffin treatment on my hands as part of the service. He made my nails look beautiful and was meticulous with the way he performed the task. I live in San Diego and I was visiting Cicero and needed my nails done. The cost was a bit more than what I pay in San Diego, but well worth it for how nice my nails looked and the services performed. I highly recommend Cozy Nails!

The morning of June 25, I visited this salon as I had heard many nice comments about it. I’m not sure if the nail technician was having a bad day (he arrived shortly after I got there) or he just wasn’t happy I had only requested a basic French manicure. I was told to sit at station 3. He took a nail clipper and clipped the middle of each nail, supposedly to make them all even, but never filed them to shape them, thus they were all “uneven”. Sadly some of the white tips were heavier on some nails than others. He also didn’t clip away any of the loose skin around certain nail beds, so I had to do that when I got back home. By Monday the white polish was already coming off the tips, so I just took all the polish off all the nails and filed them so they were all the same shape.. I don’t normally treat myself to a manicure, but was attending a concert in Rochester on Sunday, and just wanted to have some pretty nails.. I don’t usually make it a point to leave poor reviews, but I felt I needed express my deepest disappointment. On the positive side, the salon was very clean.

Salon is very clean and the girl was very nice but it was the most painful pedicure I have ever endured. My cuticles were ripped apart and still hurt almost 12 hours later and what should have been a relaxing massage was also painful. Even the massage at the end when my polish was drying was anything but relaxing. Super disappointing way to spend my one free hour away from my kids. My normal salon is in Fayetteville but I didn’t have time to go down there and I had heard great thing so decided to pop in. Won’t make that mistake again.

Had a great first visit to cozy nails- reasonably priced and the dip manicure included some nice extra touches like paraffin, a bottle of water and shoulder massage. Decent assortment of colors to choose from. Leo was friendly and did beautiful work! Dip powder
