Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueSamara(the owner) is not only a great lash tech and hair stylist. But she is a great passionate teacher as well. I went to one of her classes back in January. And I love that she wants to make sure that all of her students has the experience of one on one time with her, so she makes sure that the classes are small enough for you so you can have a great understanding of not only applications, health, techniques but the business aspect of it. Moving forward I have been doing countless hours of training on my own and I finally wanted to take a leap of faith and apply lashes to a live model. I called samara to see if she would be able to help me with this and without hesitation she replied yes. I love that she is always available for her students. Also if I have any questions or concerns she is right there with me. This is a journey and she makes me feel like she is on this journey with me. Samara(the owner) is not only a great lash tech and hair stylist. But she is a great passionate teacher as well. I went to one of her classes back in January. And I love that she wants to make sure that all of her students has the experience of one on one time with her, so she makes sure that the classes are small enough for you so you can have a great understanding of not only applications, health, techniques but the business aspect of it. Critical: ProfessionalismI am not one at all to write negative reviews about someone else’s business considering I have my own business as well, but honestly this was so uncalled for and wrong and people need to know about it before taking their business here. I booked a training for microblading along with one of my employees with Samara that was scheduled for today. We were both super excited to take the training considering all her positive reviews and seeing all the trainings she does all the time with her other students. Our training was scheduled for 11:00 AM today and tomorrow. We both woke up this morning to a message saying that there was a storm last night that knocked down the power lines and her business lost power. She told us that she called the electricity company and they said it should be back on by 1:00 o’clock. I took it upon myself to go onto the electrical company’s website to see if an outage was reported to see if they listed a time that the power would turn back on. When I looked on the website there was outages reported a town over to her so I thought that maybe it was a main power line or something that got knocked down and thats why the outage on her street wasn’t coming up. I asked Samara about this and she said she “didn’t know why it wasn’t listed” She proceeded to send us both videos of her turning on her lights and them not working. In the video I saw that there was a window with a lot of light so I offered us to still come and I could bring a portable outlet and some of my glamcor lights so we could still plug in the machines to learn. She wanted nothing to do with this idea and she said she could come to us instead because we told her we didn’t want to reschedule the class. As she explained the whole story I felt like she wasn’t telling the truth, so I took it upon myself to call other businesses located in the same building as her and ask if they had a power outage as well. Guess what? Not one single person had an outage I let it slide because of the video she sent some part of me wanted to believe her. So she then told us after a bunch of back and forth she could come to us and would be there around 1:30. My employee and I both go to our location and wait for her. At 2:00 she says she’s stuck in traffic and got rear ended. She then proceeds to send us a picture of a FAKE accident. At first I felt bad but then when I looked closely at the picture we both realized the photo was fake. My employee decided to reverse image search the photo and guess what it popped up on goggle. A photo from 2016. I was honestly just disgusted at this point because I was so excited to take the class and thought she was actually reputable because people I know who have taken her class, I asked for a refund and luckily our credit card companies were able to refund us. She said she refund us but who even knows if she was planning on doing that. Moral of the story, don’t book a training here. Samara you should be ashamed of yourself the way you conduct business.
