Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI found Courtney’s Salon through my Google search of salons near me as I was in need of a haircut BADLY! The last time I had a haircut was Feb of 2020 right before COVID hit and everything shut down so my hair had been growing for 2 years without any kind of trim….YIKES!!!!Why did I pick Courtney’s Salon out of all of the different salons listed in Google that were closer to me, because I was looking for something different. My previous salon was nice, but I wanted something more personal. Where my stylist could really get to know me and my hair and provide me an excellent cut every time. That is exactly what I got when I went to Courtney’s Salon.Courtney is a fantastic human. She actually talks with you and gets to know you and the conversation doesn’t have that “awkward” feel like you would get at most salons. She wanted to understand my hair and how I style it before recommending any length to take off. I have naturally curly hair but I do straighten it often and she knew exactly how to cut curly hair (from previous experiences, that is a challenge on its own). Her salon is out of her house and she has put so much energy into making it feel so incredibly professional that you forget that she lives there. I appreciated everything that Courtney did for me. Her response after booking an appointment online (which is a bonus in itself) was very fast. Her rates are AMAZING! Her styling after the haircut was excellent as well. All of these things plus more is why I rated her 5 stars. I know that it seems odd/weird that she doesn’t have anything but 5 stars, but once you meet her and have a haircut done by her you will understand why she only has 5 stars for reviews. I found Courtney’s Salon through my Google search of salons near me as I was in need of a haircut BADLY! The last time I had a haircut was Feb of 2020 right before COVID hit and everything shut down so my hair had been growing for 2 years without any kind of trim….YIKES!!!!

I never had a regular stylist prior to seeing Courtney for more than a few visits. Courtney is very professional, awesome at her job and really takes the time and initiative to get to know you as a person not just as a client. She’s very honest and if she doesn’t think something will look as good on you she will discuss those thoughts prior to styling your hair. I have had my hair colored and cut by Courtney for almost 20 years and I’ve followed her to four different salon locations in the process. I never had a regular stylist prior to seeing Courtney for more than a few visits. Courtney is very professional, awesome at her job and really takes the time and initiative to get to know you as a person not just as a client. She’s very honest and if she doesn’t think something will look as good on you she will discuss those thoughts prior to styling your hair. I can’t possibly say enough good things about Courtney. She’s just the best! Until about two two years ago I had never had a stylist, I’d go to random places to get my hair done, but ever since meeting Courtney I won’t let anyone else touch my hair. Walking in to Courtney’s salon is like visiting a friend. She’s so easy to talk to, remembers everything about you and truly cares about her clients. I thought that I had found another stylist that I was happy with but after being unhappy the 2nd or 3rd time with the outcome I decided to try Courtney and as long as she is within an hour from me I will continue to see her. She is talented, takes time to listen to your desired outcomes and goals and creates a look that fits your personality and is easily maintainable. I recommend her highly to anyone based in the Twin Cities. I met Courtney out dancing and had recently lost my stylist that I loved and had for years due to her moving away. I thought that I had found another stylist that I was happy with but after being unhappy the 2nd or 3rd time with the outcome I decided to try Courtney and as long as she is within an hour from me I will continue to see her. She is talented, takes time to listen to your desired outcomes and goals and creates a look that fits your personality and is easily maintainable.
