Ive had plenty of different masseuses from male to female, large to small and all but the most tough have a hard time really getting into the muscle and getting it to release. That is untill I booked an hour with AJ. During the massage I felt very little besides relaxed but for someone who’s roughly half my size she managed to make me a little sore but more importantly limber for my morning workout, without breaking a sweat. Sufficive to say AJ has the the touch, and I’ll be looking for her next time i need a tune up.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI think if you’re going to AB for a relaxing massage, you’ll get a relaxing massage. As for me, I went to AB for a therapeutic massage to manage my lower back pain. I emphasized to them that I needed a massage specifically for my chronic pain. I told them that in the voicemail I left for them, I told them that when they called back to make the appointment, and I told them that when I arrived. The woman who gave me the massage was very nice and did a good job on other areas of my back that weren’t hurting. But she clearly did not know how to handle my lower back problem. She avoided touching it for most of the massage, and when she did get to my lower back problem, she didn’t know what to do, and she admitted as much. I came away from the massage with worse symptoms, which persist now a week later. I don’t blame the masseuse. She was just doing the best job she could. But I very much resent AB Massage Therapy taking my money to address a very specific problem, only to provide me with a service that made my specific problem worse.
