I wanted to use this place, but when I showed the woman a picture of the stacked bob I wanted, she said they don’t do that kind of cut there?? I was taken off guard by that because it’s a pretty basic and popular cut and I have never had a stylist tell me that before. I gave the three stars because I’m glad she told me. I wouldn’t want anyone isn’t knowledgeable to cut my hair.

When I mentioned I though my hair would be shorter the stylist said she had cut quite a bit off so I knew she would argue with me. I went there to get my hair dyed pink and it turned out amazing!! They also keep there salon clean. I love it AND they are amazing at washing your hair (you’d be surprised at how many times I went to a salon and my hair ended up coming out very greasy with all the products they put in it) they also massage your head while washing your hair and it feels so nice!!! Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityHad appointments booked. We showed up for our appointments and they told us they “couldn’t fit us in” and turned us away even though we weren’t just walk ins. The older lady that came to the counter was rude and acted like it was the biggest inconvenience that we were there. I have been here prior and in the past they turned my hair orange with bleaching and didn’t trim the ends like i wanted so it was left fried and the stylist that did it thought it looked amazing. Had appointments booked. We showed up for our appointments and they told us they “couldn’t fit us in” and turned us away even though we weren’t just walk ins. The older lady that came to the counter was rude and acted like it was the biggest inconvenience that we were there. Cost Cutters in Hibbing Minnesota inside WalMart. WORST HAIR SALON IN MINNESOTA. Here’s one reason why. I was 5 minutes late for a haircut one time. I got a lecture and a scolding like I was a naughty child by the manager. Next haircut I was 8 minutes early. They wasted time and next time they talked to me was 35 minutes past my appointment. No apology. Then the manager used profanity. What an unprofessional way to manage and run a salon. What an unprofessional way to treat your customers. WARNING: The manager is the worst excuse for a store manager I’ve seen in many decades. And her haircuts are low quality (they always cut my right side longer than the left even after I asked them to fix it). But I gave them business because it’s located in Hibbing WalMart where I shop a lot. What a relief … now I’m going to other salons now and steering my 5,000 Facebook friends AWAY from Cost Cutters in Hibbing. Not just bad but TERRIBLE. Embarrassing. Run. Don’t look back.
