Cost Cutters Grand Rapids Walmart

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI always go to Cost Cutters & always have the same stylist. My stylist used to work at Great Clips, and I loyally followed her to CC. I’ve consistently been pleased with my haircuts & the service I’ve received. That changed yesterday. I had a 2:00 appt with my usual stylist. I arrived at 1:50. It was 2:10 before anyone even came to the desk to wait on me. My stylist said nothing about being late, but asked if I was in a hurry. I told her it depends on what that means. She informed me she had to finish styling a perm & clean up & that it would be another 20 minutes. I said that would be ok. 40 minutes later, my stylist was exiting the salon with her last client. She passed by me & said she had to get her client situated & would be right with me. That was at 2:50. I got up from my chair at 3:00 & saw my stylist at the atm with her client. I thought she was headed back to the salon. At 3:10 I got up to check the atm & she wasn’t there. No one was left in the salon. The only other stylist had left the salon & was just returning. She saw me looking anxious & just said she had no idea what was going on. At 3:20 (an hour & 20 minutes after my appt) I decided I’d had enough. I went to get my groceries. Passing by the registers I saw my stylist at a checkout with her last client. I was over it at that point so I just kept walking. I understand that things get busy. I also understand going above and beyond to help people. But the way I was treated was 100% unprofessional. If I have an appt, I expect it to be kept. It’s an appt, not a walk-in where you’re expected to wait awhile. Even then, I doubt anyone would wait as long as I did. I’m appalled & baffled by this experience.Edited to state that you will not find me in the system as a customer with this name or email. I have gotten my hair done at super expensive salons and never left 100% happy. I can say Jolene did such a professional job I was blown away by the difference and completely happy with the results! I totally messed up my hair on this quarantine and needed alot of help lol Jolene was amazing, sweet and great conversation! I have gotten my hair done at super expensive salons and never left 100% happy. I can say Jolene did such a professional job I was blown away by the difference and completely happy with the results! Going to her every time I need my or my family’s hair done!
