Husband took our son for a quick haircut. He comes home with a bowl cut on one side, hair missing in one place, and looking like an overall hot mess. And, it was his first day of preschool the next day. Apparently, the lady who worked on Sunday the 10th, was still drunk from the night before. My husband came home with his hair botched, also. I call today to get in for a correction and am told they close at 5. Husband races home from work in Woodbury to South Saint Paul & grabs my son to go back to Woodbury. They closed 30 minutes early. Someone was inside and ignored them standing at the door. I call, no answer. Honestly, I can’t even imagine how some people provide such intentionally bad service & then sleep at night. I’d be embarrassed to provide horrible service & suck at my job & then to be plain rude – oh, what a treat to be so awesome. I’ll be calling tomorrow & trying to find an owner if there is one to be found. Also, will be disputing the charges, since I could have done a better job and I have zero hair cutting experience.

Cost Cutters lost a long time customer today. I’ve gone to this location for years. As a Woodbury resident, it was very convenient. The people and the quality of the service has always been good. Which is why I feel as an overall rating they earn at least two stars.

Don’t go there if you have long beautiful hair. They will screw it up for you really badly. When you try to ask them politely to return your money back all you get is I don’t have time for you. All I tried to be is polite with them but in return they argued with me. So never heard from them again when I waisted two days driving there which is 30 min drive. They cut my hair in squares when I asked for layers. They did everything in a rush. Should of turned me away and explained that there is not enough time. Or could have told me to make an appointment for another day. Honestly I was polite to them but in return got nothing. All they did was blaming me for everything. Said that I was wrong and they are right.

I called to get on the waitlist. The lady who answered asked if she could put me on hold while she checked a guy out. I said that’s fine. She must have just set down the phone because I could hear the entire transaction. After he left, she apparently forgot I was on the line, and she called him a cheap SOB because he used a coupon. I stayed on the line a while longer, saying hello a few times, but she had apparently forgotten about me. I wasn’t going to go to this unprofessional business anyway, but I wanted to tell her I heard everything she said. I’d avoid them unless you want them to say rude things about you behind your back.

Got my hair permed here. The lady who did it didn’t permed certain sections of my hair and Its very noticeable. She argued with me with what type of curls I wanted. Wasn’t really friendly.
