Business does not tolerate walk-ins. Waited 10 minutes for a staff member to come out and tell me that they would not be able to help me for more than 2 hour wait because of reservations, despite them having nobody else in the shop and free hands. Person then went to go sit in the backroom and ignore customers once again.

I normally wouldn’t go to a cost cutters but the one in lake mills is my favorite due to the staff there. Amber, the hairstylist there is what keeps me going back. She works incredibly hard to accomplish the look that you are going for. I’ve seen her a handful of times now and will keep going back as long as she is there. Very skilled with hair color and is very personable! She’s the best!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityRarely supports walk-in’s, so I set up appointment. Show up 5 minutes before appointment and am told to wait in car (which is fair for social distancing practices) and they would come out and get me. 2 separate people walk in AFTER me and get haircuts while I’m sitting in my car. 20 minutes AFTER my appointment was set, I get a call from Cost Cutters saying they will be another 10 minutes as “they are behind.” This location consistently has staffing issues, rarely picks up the phone, rarely can accommodate walk-in’s, and can’t even keep on time with their appointments. If i could give this place a lower review i would. The two times i came to get my hair cut here the woman who cut my hair had unsanitary tools with HER OWN HAIR in them. She didn’t even attempt to clean them before she cut my hair. I always get a very simple haircut, short on the sides and trim the top. But this woman basically buzzed my entire head and to add insult to injury she cut my sideburns ABOVE MY EARS! Who looks in the mirror every morning and genuinely thinks yeah sideburns above my ears looks good? I’ll tell you who: the employees of cost cutters. This place will NEVER touch my hair again. Do not, i repeat DO NOT get your hair cut here if you care about how it looks.
