I have a handicapped brother who is confined to his wheelchair. Kathy, the stylist who took care of us during this visit, was exceptionally kind and very helpful. This Cost Cutters in Cottage Grove has handicapped parking available and a ramp to get from the parking lot to the store. My brother was able to stay in his wheelchair during the haircut and did not have to transfer into one of the stylist chairs. I would highly recommend this Cost Cutters location and the employee that took care of my brother during this visit.

Most of the people in this place do a terrible job at hair cuts. I had asked for a simple style that would be easy to do and look good before I would have to leave for work. Yes I care about my image and how I look. When I walk into this place greeted by some nice ladies and nice staff and service and I’m starting to think I should get my hair cut here more often. However by the time I wake up for work the next morning it is impossible to style my hair the way I want it. I remember when I went to my old stylist she would for sure try to train the hair in advanced so it wasn’t such a hustle to do in the morning. But with cost cutters they do the trim and you are usually left with styling. If you can imagine I had no idea what to do for the first week so I read blogs and watched YouTube videos on how to get the style I wanted. All in all. I work at 7 but have to get up by around 5 ish if I want to even get close to the way I want it. (I know a lot will think “well that’s just not how your hair wants to go” but let me correct you by saying that me and father have a lot of similarities and one of them is our hair and he was able to get this style down within a few days or weeks. With me, it’s been almost 9 months and still no sign of my hair ever getting to the style I want) would never go to cost cutters again for a haircut again

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI’ve been sitting in my car for 12 mins waiting for her to wave me in for a 1040am wax appt. There was 1 girl cutting a gentleman’s hair not sure if my girl was on break? But the least they could do is be on time especially when there is 2 of them working and only 1 with an appt. Then I get in and she has me hold a mirror and ask how I want my brows done after I said just clean them up. I have never had a professional whose to know how to do waxes ask me to hold a mirror so I could watch her to make sure she was doing it correctly. If I knew how to clean up my brows that I’ve always had waxed I would have done it myself. Needless to say I walked out. Made an apot. Stopped by the Cottage Grove Cost Cutters today for a haircut. Asked by the young lady behind the counter what I needed today and I replied ” haircut”. At this time she stated that the next available time was 4pm!! I was the only customer waiting and it was 1:30 in the afternoon!!
