AMY- middle aged women with dark hair on Elmore ruined my hair. The picture speaks for itself. I went for a trim, the trim was uneven and choppy. I asked for light facial framing starting under my cheek bone… (I already had some all she had to do was trim it.) she gave me a bang on one side & just WAYYYYYY to much. It’s super uneven.

I’m only giving this place A star because they were nice. However, I got service from a girl who’s name I do not remember due to the amount of shock I was in while getting a hair cut. I went in with semi straight hair and unwashed so she washed it. I have very curly thick hair as she was about to notice after she washed it. I explained what I wanted as I have had the same cut for the last year and she acted as if she knew what I wanted. She was NOT competent at all as she began to just start cutting the back( which she cut too short and had someone come fix it) I’m not sure why at this point I didn’t stop her but she continues to shape up the back and pays no mind to the sides or front of my hair. She combed only the top half of the layers as she barely wanted to touch may hair,it seemed. Well with the pictures you all can see,she did something that requires me to go to my salon on Monday and fix this. I have requested a refund but maybe someone there should check into her background and licensing.

If I could give it 1 star I would. The place I normally go was closed for New Years and I was only home for a few days and since they had such good reviews I decided to give them a try. My stylist was Manda I believe. I never actually received her name. First off she needs to wear deodorant. Having someone working that close to your face with bad BO is unpleasant. My hair is not the color it should be. She did not know what she was doing. After she dried my hair I pointed out that the top half of my hair was a different color than the bottom half. Bright yellow on top and super ashy gray on the bottom. She said well I can try to tone it more but that is because of the color than was already in it. Really!?! by that logic that means you get color put in your hair once and then wait for it to grow out before getting color done again. She did tone it again and succeeded in getting the color closer, but still two different colors but not the lovely blonde hair I wanted. It now alternates between silvery gray and grayish green. And is fried. Now I have work meetings and trying to be creative with bandeau headbands to hide it and since I will be at my mom’s house in Minnesota for a day and a half before I fly out I will need to go to another salon. Luckily my moms stylist will be able to squeeze me in and try to fix my hair. At this point I don’t even care if it is the color that I wanted. I just want it not to be hideous. I cried when I got in the car. I spent $130 to ruin my hair and I’m going to have to spend that again to get it fixed. I also spent a bunch of money getting special products to try to repair the damage caused to my hair by over processing. DO NOT GO here!!!!

The stylist was super nice which is why I’m giving more than 1 star. Unfortunately cut 1-1/2″ off my hair and then made a last clip that left my hair about 1-1/2″ shorter on one side than the other. Not sure what happened. Another stylist tried to ‘fix’ it but couldn’t be fixed unless I let her cut all my hair too short. So unfortunate.

I had a very pleasant experience at this salon today. The girls there were very nice and the stylist that cut my hair was very attentive and interactive during my consultation. I’m very pleased with the cut I got. The lady that was checking out as I came in made sure to tell me she loves her stylist and has been going there for years.

Was greeted with my son by an eye roll and sigh. Stylist was rude to me and had a nasty attitude towards my son. She wouldn’t listen to what he wanted and ignored him. Told him that “she wasn’t going to bend over at all to cut his hair so he better just sit still.” Usually like this place but I don’t think we will be coming back anytime soon. She also messed his hair up and it is crooked so we’ll have to go elsewhere to get it fixed.
