Critical: ProfessionalismI’ve been going here for years for haircuts, always getting average haircuts but nothing ever too bad. Yesterday I decided I wanted to get a haircut so I pulled up in front of the window and parked, I looked in to see if it was busy and a blonde lady was sitting, staring right at me. At first I thought it was a rude customer or something, and I’m not the kind of person that sticks out, I look like your ordinary young woman… We had a staring contest for minutes and she stared right into my soul. I waved at her. She didn’t smile or make a reaction but continued to glare at me. I smiled and reached for my phone and called the place. I saw her run to the desk to answer the phone and I immediately hung up. So the rude blonde lady that was having a staring contest with me and glaring at me for several minutes was the receptionist. It’s not like they were busy either, I only saw one customer. But I decided to go somewhere else (Great Clips) and preceded to tell the hairstylist there about my experience and she said that lady was really creepy. I’ve been going here for years for haircuts, always getting average haircuts but nothing ever too bad. Yesterday I decided I wanted to get a haircut so I pulled up in front of the window and parked, I looked in to see if it was busy and a blonde lady was sitting, staring right at me. I have gone to Cost Cutters for over 15 years now and they have always had great customer service and friendly attitudes and usually I can see those Great Smiles! However, can’t see those wonderful Smiles right now unfortunately. 🙁 They have always done a great job with my children’s hair and mine as well! Today we seen Myah at the 42nd Street location in Cedar Rapids, IA and she did a wonderful job!

The staff was very kind and patient with my mother in law who has Alzheimer’s and dementia. The stylist did a good job styling her very fine and thin hair. The prices are reasonable. My only complaint is the about the bathroom. It was right off the chairs and it smelled terrible. The urinal didn’t flush properly and there was no airfreshner. That bathroom needs repairs and a though cleaning. Then an airfreshner that sprays aromatically should be installed.
