I was not a walk in. I had an appointment I made the day prior. I was informed by my stylist after getting my hair cut that the common practice is to let people walk out of the salon with wet hair. I repeated the question at least two times because I wanted to make sure I understood her correctly. She insisted on using the word “damp”. But my hair was wet. I was told if I wanted my hair styled after a hair cut, I would have to sit in a chair and wait for about 20 minutes until she was done with her next client and then she could style my hair, but that it would be an extra charge. She then insinuated that my expectations were unrealistic by stating that all franchises are like this. I have been to many different hair salons and I have never been expected to walk out of a salon with “damp” (read: wet) hair after a cut.

I have taken my mom here to get cut and style a bunch of times. Usually it goes great. Today the woman styling mom’s hair did a terrible job. There was no curl, no style and a big empty spot in the back. Mom is 90 and I wish they would have given her the ‘hairdo’. Really a rip off to charge $29 for something so lame.

I made an appointment for Thursday for highlights cut and wax. I was burned badly on my eyelid. It’s so painful. I was told at first she may not have time to do what all I wanted. My appointment was at 4 I arrived at 3:50, they close at 8??? I told her I wanted very light blonde highlights I don’t think she left the bleach on long enough. I said cut the fuzzies off and she took all my length. It was an all round bad experience. But I’ve never had my eye burned when getting waxed. It’s so painful. I usually go to austintown never had a problem. I took pictures.

I’m so upset I went to the Boardman location for the first time in many years never again! I usually go to austintown. I was burned when I got waxed on my eyelid it’s very painfully. I made an appointment online like always. I was told I needed to call the kinda defeats the purpose of the online. I went there and set the time because that’s the only time that worked for all the stuff I wanted done she acted like it was an inconvenience. I said trim the ends she cut them I asked for the lightest blonde she didn’t do that either. 230.00 to be burned and unhappy!!! I can’t believe she burned me and didn’t say a thing.

I had 5 inches taken off. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the amount of hair she was cutting off, which was very much appreciated. She did an amazing job with the cut, and the style was exactly what I wanted! She was so professional and made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable the entire time. I cannot say enough good things! I will absolutely be coming back again for my next haircut, and any other services I need in the future. She took the time to make sure I was comfortable with the amount of hair she was cutting off, which was very much appreciated. I went to the boardman location for the first and last time!!! I usually go to Austintown with no issues. Well not Thursday in Boardman my eyelid was severely burned it’s so painful. I asked for a trim of just the fuzzies off and I wanted a light light blonde highlights that didn’t happen either. I scheduled my appointment online and at first they told me I needed to call and they didn’t know if they’d have time??? What the purpose online scheduling? But I’m still in shock she burned me so badly.
