Never going back here again, I told the lady to cut my hair the tiniest amount I even showed her a picture. I love my hair and a lot of people love my hair too, it means a lot to me and it is a huge part of my appearance. She completely took my hair out and gave me a bowl cut. I told her not to cut the back and she still cut the back. How is this even legal? I came here three times. The first and second time was fine but the third ruined my life. I am Afro Latina and I have really curly kinky hair. I don’t remember the woman that did my hair, name but she is the darker woman that works there. I was going for wash and sets/silk press and the first two times I went it was pretty good. But the third time I came to the shop it changed everything for me. I am almost certain they snuck in a relaxer. Since then which was about five months ago, I cannot get my hair to go back natural.. I’ve washed and conditioned it tons of times and it’s still straight. I never asked nor wanted anything permanent! I only wanted it to last maybe a week. I literally had to chop off all of the hair that was done during this visit and start over. I’ve asked around and everyone said my hair should have went back natural eventually but for it to take five months and it still be straight, isn’t normal. I already received bad feedback from others that came here but I wanted to give it a chance and it was probably the worst decision I could’ve made. I know hair is hair and can grow back but some people really take pride and joy in their hair and it’s very important to some of us but from looking at these reviews and going through my experience I probably would not recommend anyone to come here obviously for anything. Because if you can’t even trust that they won’t put chemicals you didn’t ask for in your hair, let alone do something as simple as a haircut when it is a part of their brand I don’t see the point in going to this shop. The woman that did my hair the three times I did come to this location was very pleasant but obviously not honest because there was definitely chemicals put in my hair this last visit so if you can drive a little bit further down the road to try a different salon I would highly recommend you do that.

Critical: ProfessionalismEllen cut my hair and while she was pretty kind, in the end I didn’t appreciate some of the comments she made. She also refused to cut my hair the way I wanted it. i showed her a reference and explained clearly what I wanted. but she cut it how she wanted it and refused to take anymore length off ?? Used to go here for pretty much every cut since moving to the area before the rebranding. Typically I just get a quick short fade and trim, quick and nothing flashy but ever since it’s been difficult to even get in. It’s either make an online appointment which it won’t seem to let me do or call. On top of all that it is really irritating to be told to come in an hour only to have my time amd fuel wasted when I get there because suddenly they aren’t taking anymore customers after telling me to come back in an hour.
