This morning I went into Cost cutters for a normal haircut. Not ONLY did I get an AMAZING haircut, but truly had a FANTASTIC experience all do to Suzann T! She was SO kind and so great to talk to! My dad had someone dye my little sister’s hair at this salon. Also my dad is not the type of person to make anything a big deal because he has a feeling nothing will be resolved. But i am soaking up because it’s about her experience. My little sister’s hair is not okay. First, her ears, neck, AND scalp still have dye on the skin. Second, her hair still has some noticeable blonde strands from the bleach. the sections that’s were dyed aren’t all the same color, her hair is green/green-blue and the color she asked for was BLUE. I wouldn’t be writing a review if i wasn’t actually upset. If this wasn’t as bad as it looks i wouldn’t have cared much and left it as it was. But i really expected better, she was very excited to get her hair done and came out with something that wasn’t what she wanted whatsoever. I will be calling tomorrow and also visiting the salon soon to get a refund. this experience was not fun at all for her. She also mentioned that the woman who did her hair was occasionally being rough and she didn’t like it. I understand that because her hair hasn’t been dyed before it takes time and a few appointments sometimes for a color to actually show when it’s the first time but there should have been more appointments scheduled if that was the case but now that i see what came out of my sister going to this salon i don’t think i want to make further appointments to even try to fix her hair. So it looks like i’ll be getting box hair dye in a couple weeks for her.

I want to express how grateful I am to Suzann for the wonderful job she did on my hair. My hair was really dark, due to covering up a hair color mistake. She explained to me what she needed to do to fix the problem, she was very careful not to dry out my hair, she worked on my hair for hours and I ended up with a great color with a few highlights. I received so many compliments at work the next couple of days. I recommend Suzann, she’s great and very knowledgeable. Thank you Suzann.

I was told I didn’t want a bob and she just started cutting my hair the way she wanted to cut it. When I got home and dried my hair it was awful. It has no style. The top, back and sides look like three different cuts. They have increased their prices so you may as well go to a good salon for a few dollar’s more. My hair is a chopped off mess This was my second time there I should have known better. The unfriendly manager cut my hair and one side was longer when I got home. She was too busy listening to the conversation beside her. Never again!!!

It had to be the worst experience we’ve ever had. We usually go with Jerry but we were walk ins This time and ended up with the short older lady that stood at about 4 ft. We went to go get our child’s hair cut yesterday and it was rather a traumatic experience for us all. My son has sensory issues (the electric razor being a big one) and adhd so we knew it was gonna be hard going in. This lady started out fine for the first literal minute, playing with him and handing him things to occupy him. After that it all went downhill. She kept grabbing his face and pushing his head to get him in the position she wanted and when I said let’s take a break I had to yell at her and say it a second time and push her hand away. Throughout the haircut he needs breaks and when I’d say let’s take a break she’d step away for legitimately 3-5 seconds and continue. At one point she had a section in the back she was about to cut and he started to move and her grip on his hair was apparently strong enough for him to not be able to move. Knowing all these things and seeing how he does with getting his hair cut this woman tried to use SCISSORS around his ears. No comb just trying to cut around with scissors. When I told her I strongly preferred the electric razor even tho he moves she got irritated. She tried and as soon as she did he moved of course (THIS WAS EXPECTED) and she huffed and rolled her eyes. It’s the worst haircut my sons ever had. I told her to forget around the ears and nape of neck I’d just get it later but the back of his hair is so uneven it’s to almost to the point past saving. He’s got random longer strands on the actual sides of his head. Idk what her issue was but that is not how you treat or handle a child with sensory issues. If you can’t then just say so. Needless to say we won’t be going back without an appointment with Jerry, that’s if he’s not terrified to go in. All I’m saying is she’s not good with kids AT ALL and according to another comment she’s not with adults either.

The lady cut my oldest child’s hair, but refused to cut my youngest because he has allergies and something in the shop was causing him to sneeze. She had a mask on and he would have put one on. Now I have to take him somewhere else. If you are that afraid of sneezes then get a different job. So frustrating and we won’t be back. **update- took him to Sport Clips right after and no problem.

This is just my personal opinion and feelings, but I know it’s shared by many, many people!When a person finds a hair stylist and truly connects, it’s a very personal relationship.It’s NOT “just getting a cut, or color, or whatever”. You know this stylist knows what you want and how to give that service to you.You know that you’re going to leave happy every single time, and not in a traumatic state when you leave that chair!It is NOT the shop, it’s the STYLIST that you’re choosing, no matter where they may be. If they move, I follow my stylist.I don’t say ” oh well, I’ll just let someone else cut my hair”. Nope. Unless my stylist stops doing hair, I’m not letting anyone else touch my hair. It’s a very personal thing, and not just any stylist will do!Alex left and I was very upset when I found out. I think it’s rediculous that a shop has rules that won’t allow it’s employees to tell clients where a hairdresser goes when they leave. It puts the existing employees in an awkward spot, and it makes the clients work harder and wastes valuable time in order to find their stylist…BUT..I found ALEX BURKE again!
