My daughter had been asking for her hair to be colored for her birthday. She was so excited but unfortunately her stylist was in a bad mood I guess. She didn’t speak to her for the hour and half she was there. My daughter had friends with her for her birthday party and the lady complained about her having friends there with her like it was an inconvenience to her for them to be in waiting room. She even asked her when I left with them why she needed so many friends with her to get her hair done. She complained freon ther moment we walked in that the she was going to do something to the phone if it continued to ring so much. If you are in a service job and having a bad day you need to learn to get over it while you have someone in your chair. I hate that she ruined my daughters first experience for hair color. We will not go back and I will not recommend to anyone.

Took my 3 kids ages 3, 12, and 13 to get there hair cut. Was there less then an hour, and we went as walk-ins. Stephanie was fabulous and did a great job on all the kids hair but I was impressed with how she dealt with my youngest. Thank Stephanie! We will be back to see you.

Came here yesterday in urgent need of a color fix on my hair after attempting to box dye it myself and turning it purple, black, yellow and splotchy all over. The stylist ( I think her name was Cheryl ) did a phenomenal job of fixing my hair. She was experienced, quick, and super nice. She got it the exact shade of dark brown I was really wanting without any red undertones whatsoever, and made sure it was the color I was wanting. Honestly the best job I have ever had done at any salon! Will definitely be back as long as she is still there. Just blown away by the job she did on the color, couldn’t have asked for it better any where else!

My family signed in for 3 hair cuts, one was taken back immediately, then another customer came in saying she was late for her appointment due to being “stuck in traffic” (there was NO traffic anywhere, she was 30 minutes late & was in workout clothes. The hairdressers here do not listen to their clients. They do whatever they want instead of what the client asks them to do, and what they do isn’t even well done. My brother came in for a cut before an interview and they didn’t listen to what he wanted at all, instead they pressured him into something completely different that was completely uneven. During this time of many inconveniences, Cost Cutters on County Line Rd. in Madison, AL has found a new way to inconvenience their customers. Unless you are having a “chemical treatment” you must visit the shop in person to have your name added to a list that will give you an approximate time when you can get a haircut. There are many ways that this simple exchange could be handled that wouldn’t require multiple visits to the shop. This method goes counter to the goal of minimizing physical contact with others and is needlessly inconvenient. It should be revised immediately.
