Critical: QualityTook my son in to get a normal boys fade. Lady was rude and only spoke to my son or me when he itched his face and she said pull your mask over your nose (he’s 10) and did have it on correctly. Jacked his hair up! Left half of his side burns, uneven bangs, just the worst cut he’s ever had. Will never go back if I could give it zero stars I would. Took my son in to get a normal boys fade. Lady was rude and only spoke to my son or me when he itched his face and she said pull your mask over your nose (he’s 10) and did have it on correctly. Jacked his hair up! Left half of his side burns, uneven bangs, just the worst cut he’s ever had. Will never go back if I could give it zero stars I would. Critical: ProfessionalismAt 5:30pm, I left my name and number on the sign-in sheet up front. Two other names were ahead of mine, so I figured I’d just walk around and check on a few of the things I wanted to look at while I waited for the call. I easily lose track of time, and by the time I thought to check the clock, it was around 7pm. I waited a few more minutes — I have no idea why, but probably something along the lines of hopeless optimism that they’d call in that timeframe — but I eventually just called and asked what exactly the timeframe was, because I’d been waiting for close to two hours. The woman that answered said she didn’t remember seeing my name but that she’d check the clipboard. Surprise, there’s my name and number. She apologized and said that she’d “move me up” to the next seat.I waited until 8pm, when I knew they were closing, and I showed up at the gate. Neither woman working there acted like I had ever called or signed in, and the more predominantly vocal one at the desk just kept telling me that they were closed and weren’t doing cuts after-hours. I find it very cute that she still thought I wanted to get my hair cut by them — all I wanted was an explanation for the unprofessionalism, which I did not get.This might not seem like that big of a deal to others, and that is reasonable. However, my depression and anxiety have been legitimately crippling for months now. My hair has gotten shaggy because I just don’t have the energy or desire to leave my bedroom, and the fact that multiple people have pointed out how badly I need a trim has only contributed to my being too down to actually get it done. Two other names were ahead of mine, so I figured I’d just walk around and check on a few of the things I wanted to look at while I waited for the call.
