So this particular hair dressor asked me to come in after she saw me check in. The chair and area was not cleaned up after the previous customer had a hair cut (Hair strewn on the chair). She said “ugh ho” (but did not offer to have it cleaned up) and then…. Said.. “Have a seat”!!!

So, we were visiting NY and decided all the boys (my son, nephew, & brother-in-law) should get a haircut. My son had very long hair on top and the sides/back was too long for both of us. He picked out what he wanted (basically just a trim on top with a fade up on the sides and back – see pic of the dude with the beard). I showed the hairdresser & explained how we wanted it. I showed her the picture at least four times. She asked how much of a trim we wanted on top and she suggested we cut it in half where the front would land just below his eyebrows. We said ok. This is how his hair turned out. It’s cute, but it is dramatically shorter AND a completely different haircut than what we asked for. There is no fade up to the top (which was described and in the inspiration pic), there is absolutely no comb over of hair, the only hair long enough to brush over is the very front, which, when not brushed up with gel, is not even touching his eyebrow now and his hair is straight! It reaches midway down his forehead. Ugh. I get it. Hair grows back & he’s a boy and young so it should be fine, right? But this was not at all what we asked for and doesn’t even remotely match the desired haircut. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star is because my son didn’t leave crying.

I went here with my girlfriend and was not impressed at all. She wanted A pretty simple fade hair cut with one of those fashion lines edged into into it. Well the cut was ok….but definitely not great…she left her with hair ALL OVER HER. We had to go right home so she could shower. I couldn’t believe how much hair she left all over her head and neck.
