here is an update I did give five stars about a year ago but I just went in recently and my three services for myself and two other people that I paid for did not go well. To have gel polish removed for a plain manicure which is $15 each I was charged for two French manicures which are $20 each with which makes it a ridiculous $5 charge just to remove gel polish! And I was explaining what was going on out loud so all the customers could hear and I was being very polite. I explained to Joanne that I would have to take that extra charge out of the tip money. I said $2 charge would be reasonable for removal so then she gave me the difference back after I mentioned that it would have to come out of the tip money because I’m spending a lot of money for three services and tips and then being overcharged unfairly. I have never seen $5 charge for any gel removal at any salon before and if there was ever a removal charge it was only $2- that distracted me from realizing that a full pedicure was charged when it was just a polish change as. I’m going to attempt to go back and speak to Joanne about getting reimbursed for the full pedicure when it was just a polish change then be charged for just a toenail polish change- and if she does not remember then I just will not go there anymore. Also one manicure cuticles were nipped pretty badly and when I was there the last time on a pedicure I was nipped very badly I don’t know why things are changing Otherwise Clean, certifications visible, nails used to be done nicely but my one manicure the nail polish was old and did not cover completely and chipped the next day. Also the gel color that I picked out for myself came with supposedly the matching toenail polish and the nail color was pink and the toenail color was in a coral family and she claimed that it was from the company and the pedicurist started giving me an attitude, which is very unpleasant, about trying to find the right color -she didn’t want to help me -so I had to get up when I’m paying for a service and I should not have to and in 2 seconds I found a color that matched. It’s very sad to see one of my favorite places treat me so poorly
