We’ve been patrons of Cornerstone Barber shop for more than 15 years. The stylist (both new and veteran) are caring and detailed, pleasant and professional. Every visit is a wonderful experience, and It’s our go-to for me and my two sons. New ownership has done a great job modernizing the place while keeping its hometown charm.

Kara was the absolute best with my two boys. She showed patience and always made their hair look perfect! I Just called to make an appointment and she doesn’t work here anymore, which is disappointing. Dawn is also really good with my boys as they have ethnic hair and it’s next to impossible to find anyone in Livingston County who knows how to cut their hair. Except everyone knows how good Dawn is and she’s hard to get an appointment with. Still give the place 5 stars!

I always check reviews before I apply to a job, so I’m leaving this review for future barbers or stylists that want to work here. I worked here for about 7 months, and it’s the best job I’ve ever had. Today is my last day and i keep tearing up lol. I wish my circumstances were different so I could stay, but life happens. Everyone that I’ve worked with is a team player. The owners, Tim and Lori, are the nicest people. They really care about the employees, not only making sure that you have the best work environment, but they care about you having time off too. It’s a good work/life balance. The customers are great too. Anyone would be lucky to work here!

I come here and get my haircut from Dawn, who is always so nice and polite! Plus she takes her time to make sure you’re getting the best haircut. She usually books up pretty quick. So make sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment!
