I recently moved to the south bay area and had to find a new tanning salon. I went shopping around and I came across Cop-A-Tan (which was actually the 3rd stop I made) and the employees were so helpful, they helped me pick the best package out for me and weren’t pushy at all (I personally don’t like pressured sales tactics). I ended up signing up for a monthly membership and buying product to help retain my tan. The prices were the most reasonable in the area! 🙂

Yes staff is very friendly, I signed up for membership on 6-29-2017 only went three times for the clear spray tan and noticed I was looking very dirty, if my clothes looked ragged and had messy hair you would think I was homeless, that’s how dirty I looked. I went in on 7-11-2017 and canceled this membership as per first membership says. But was told I would be charged another $99.00 dollars for August, mind you I only went in three times. Asked why I was being charged for August all I was told cause that’s what we do. I’m not complaining about July, but feel being charged another $99.00 for August is totally uncalled for. Only thing I can think of this is how they make their money and can stay in business. I will also be taking this up with the better business bureau, it’s not right when you follow there directions and cancel and still get charged for another month, specially when there product makes you look dirty not tanned. Very unsatisfied customer I wasn’t going to post this, but the more I thought about it the more it really made me mad that these companies get away with this kinda stuff.

Tanning bed technology is above or industry standard. Staff is friendly, adequately attentive and fairly informed, but steep, unnecessarily high costs in both initial and contractual monthly term agreements are draconian: penalty fees, unforgiving sales tracking system and zero-tolerance late policies conspire against modest or meager budgets. Fine print alert: pay attention to structured late or missed payment policy: you won’t get any break if you are non-compliant & can’t pay or use tanning.

I popped in at 5:15 on Thursday April 4th to get a spray on tan I was just handed some paperwork to fill out and then asked for my ID why in God’s name would I need to show my ID for a spray-on tan I am 55 years old anyway I explained to the gentleman at the front that my purse had been stolen about a month ago along with all of my ID and then I was waiting for my birth certificate that I had sent away for so that I can go get my driver’s license in Californ I was refused a spray-on tan at this place I will never visit it again.
