I have been a regular Cool Nails customer for over a year. Any time I’ve expressed concerns or ideas for design, I feel heard. I’ve had a consistent tech to work with and when staff changed the quality did not change. It’s easy to schedule appointments.

Positive: QualityI went here with my daughters for 2 sets of acrylics. Lee and Kim did an incredible job. Lee gave me a light and natural looking set of almond shaped nails. I love them so much! Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have been here a few times. Kim and the two male technicians are very friendly and nice, the other technicians not so much. They barely speak English, so they don’t understand what you are asking for half the time. The one tall female technician is very rough with everything, especially filing and using the drill. She made me bleed and acted annoyed by it. They always over book and don’t tell you they are switching who is continuing your nails, they just get up and walk away. They also don’t do the lotion and hand massage after your manicure, which for the price, I expect and look forward too. I now go to US Nail bar in Kenosha and have a much better experience over all, which is a shame because Cool nails is closer to me. We came in with an appointment that was booked and checked on for 2 weeks out, when our party of 4 arrived they had us wait for half an hour 45 minutes for a pedicure dip. We all paid for services and all but one didnt get services paid for. One of us did not get our nails done after waiting for an hour and 30 minutes in the chair and water. When asked for a discount or a gift certificate the lady told us no. This was a horrible experience for all of us.

I was in town for a hair appointment and called to see if they could squeeze me in. This was my first visit to this nail salon. I had Lee do my nails, he was professional, friendly, and honestly did the best pink & white I’ve ever had.

I had an appointment at 1:00.At 1:15 she moved me to a chair and took top layer of powder dip off which now told me I was stuck. Then after she finished a pedi another young lady came over and soaked my fingers. Sat like that for 20 minutes. When she finished cleaning up and doing another pedi it was almost 2:00 but she started my nails. I then thought maybe they were just busy. At end of my manicure she started another manicure causing me to sit again and wait. So in the almost 2 hours I was there she worked on three customers. Never going back. Nails are ok but this is not a relaxing experience and it’s rude. I will continue to drive 40 minutes until someone in Burlington can get it right.
