I had Alba cut and style my hair today and she did a fantastic job. She definitely understands how to cut my really straight Asian hair where it’s easy to show mistakes. She did probably the best fade I got in Texas and it’s unfortunate I found this place as I was moving out of the area. Definitely recommended and they got this cool club membership thing in case you cut your hair a lot. I would have signed up if I was staying in the area.

I came in with a birds nest of hair and asked my stylist Taylor for a clean short haircut. What I got was even better. I felt like a million bucks walking out. She was very personable, professional and the shop was beautiful. If I lived in this area I’d be a FREQUENT customer. I am very satisfied and couldn’t thank her enough. Highly recommend.

The ambiance and the staff courtesy matches the price point – my stylist, Jourdan was super cool and fun to talk to. I liked my hair cut and color – my teens approve too, though there was a spot of color on my neck that I noticed when I got home. I am more ambivalent on the shave. My stylist (or the shop) didn’t have an actual barber’s license, so if you are expecting a close to skin shave, that’s not what this is. That was a bit of a bummer, though the experience with the essential oils and hot towel was nice.

Very bad haircut with Abby. She initially cut my hair mostly in the sides after telling her to make it short everywhere, but definitely remove more at the sides. After the initial cut, I told her to cut my curly hair in the front, she just worked on it for 30 seconds and told everything was done. On top of that, the 20% mandatory tip is outrageous. I firmly believe that tip must be earned, by good service, not demanded. I think staff should be more courteous and not talk in between themselves the whole time. Sometimes, even pausing the haircut in between to talk to each other

This was a great experience. My first time in the place as a new resident. Good service, with stylists that know their business. Screens to watch everywhere you look, and free drinks too. I recommend Cool Heads for sure!

Taylor was wonderful with styling hair and beard. It’s my second time here, I got a coolheads service additional which was really refreshing. Apart from hair and beard service, the best part I liked was how Taylor and Abby make you feel comfortable. I would really recommend it to everyone.

Update: Was finally able to get a hold of someone and discuss. They only have 1 person trained or licensed to do a straight edge razor. She unfortunately did not do a good job at all. Missed my neck below the adams apple completely and did half my face and then stopped because she wasn’t comfortable. I would go there for a hair cut if I had hair ;). They indicated the frisco lakes location has someone trained for straight edge. I recommended they remove the service from their location until they have someone confident to execute the service.. Seems like a really good concept working hard to grow.

Really disappointed with hair cut we did for my son. We walked in where they allowed us but at the end hair stylist told my son she will not do taper as per style as there is another person appointment coming. This is not professional way as you know how much time it takes to complete the cut. Just giving some excuse and finishing cut in less than 10 mins to ensure make all appointments is not right way to handle customers.
